The thing is, the show was about an evil zamindar who used this ritual called Ganga Ki Dheej to prove the young, beautiful girls of the village impure so that they are thrown to woods and he could molest them. 🤬 🤬 🤬

Pakhi was just an ordinary, timid village girl who got trapped like that and Agantuk married her to save her from the villagers. He was the zamindar's son.

What I loved about Agantuk, there wasn't much gimmick. But still he had a disctinct character, he was arrogant but not like today's MLs who would show off for nothing. And he was a genuinely kind hearted person who helped the villagers. They struck the perfect balance.

Pakhi was the rather the bechari FL who suffered a lot because first of all, she was termed impure and then obviously her bua saas made her life hell. But she stood out as a wife. She was always vocal and she had this sense of right which a lot of so called empowered FLs lack this days. Prime example - Prerna.

The confession episode is one of the best considering she called out Agantuk on his hypocrisy that he never understood her. At the end of the day she was a baggage and he was ready to let go off her.

About Durga, I don't really like this concept. As I had told Nikki also that why should she be a Kalyug Ka Savitri. Why so much emphasis on her Patnidharm? And obviously once you watch characters like Piya or Vaishnavi, you don't really root for a weaker version. But I guess she'll become stronger in the coming episodes. After all, they have advertised Rakshanda's character with similarity with Mahishasur and Durga with Goddess. So let's see. 😳

Great and I became since watching Mata ki chowki. The story was about how the Goddess sends her daughter or a girl who is backed with her ashirwad to destroy the evil. Her name was Vaishnavi.

Sai played a positive character who was her dad, and Sudesh Berry was the antagonist.

True and even I totally agree. Totally kuch bhi. True! Yeah, but even I am not that interested. Plus to match up with Rakshanda is also huge.

I really appreciated Muskaan and she was brilliant as she matched with seasoned actors like Sai and Sudesh Berry which is Huge!

Hi5! I loved this show❤️, such a beautiful one and they didn't mess or glorify unlike today's shows.

BTW it's great that we have similar interests in mythology.

Yeah, sometimes newcomers do wonder. This was another reason I loved Niyati more in YMMKD. Considering it was her second show, she matched up with actors like Eijaz Khan and Ananya Khare and she was effortless. Not just her but the actress who played Mishri (Her friend plus sister in law).

Such shows are a treat to watch.

In that sense, I actually think elder actors have this capability to mould the younger ones. I watched the last few episodes of BB for Pranali's exit. She was awful.

But she was brilliant in JNPPK, specially in the last 10 episodes with Sai and other actors. And she did say she learned from all the senior actors. 👍🏼
