Yup! I remember someone mentioning lack of theatres, In the smaller cities, which now won’t get built. With OTT platforms, they have to really bring innovative content to theaters when they do reopen. But, when was the last time BW made a relevant movie, wrt to content, style, narrative? They haven’t. All their movies are copied from HW, south or other Asian movies. Now with the power of subtitles, you don’t need to know a language to enjoy a movie.

Arresting journalists, demolishing houses, threatening people on social media, protecting criminals. There’s absolute madness! I don’t know how the gov system works in India but someone needs to step in and put an end to these horrible unlawful activities.

This whole case has basically shown the reality of this industry to many. These people are a huge clique and if you don't fit in or subscribe to their "rules", they will do whatever they can to label you the odd one out. This phase has particularly shown how manufactured their own stardom is. There are very few who are genuinely popular. Most of the hype that a whole lot of these star kids get is manufactured. I think public's response has rattled them all. Which is why they are doing whatever they can to salvage their own "reputation". And the truth is plenty can see through that BS too .
