I like how Sushant's family is not getting into giving interviews and letting their legal team address everything. This is a better thing to do when u are not experts in handling media

My thoughts so far:

I definitely think sushant was suffering from some mental illness. I don’t think that’s the issue here. The family hasn’t changed their tunes on this matter, despite what social media says. The key issue here is what is the exact nature of his illness because the drugs given vary in potency, and seem to be in conjunction with recreational drugs, and who was administering it.

A lot of changes happened in 2019, that is still inexplicable.

I read reports that he faced a low in 2013, but then all was great till 2019. Even Rhea said something happened in 2013. If there was a mental issue from 2013, how was he able to function the way he did for 6years, given that he completely changed in 2019. We are talking about MENTAL HEALTH. It’s not a cold, that appears in 6 years or goes away when people feel ‘normal’. Sushant went from working in TV/movies/film course; 3-4 movies in 2018 to doing no new work in 2019.
Either he was facing some mental health issue since 2013, which was managed by himself with support of his family, or he was diagnosed in 2019.

How does any of this absolve Rhea? She still seems to be way in over head to handle a mentally ill patient. Which in itself is grossly irresponsible. to top it, she was seemingly controlling finances, managing his meds, social life, but the only people allowed to be close to him were people who were close to Rhea.

They were changing doctors, the lifestyle was messy, erratic and all those who loved him/ knew him from pre- Rhea were gone.

From nov 2019 to June 2020, the family met him handful of times, the father wasn’t allowed to visit, the time he went to Chandigarh, he came back in 2 days. Does any of it sound reasonable? A mentally ill man, meeting his family at waterstone, his sisters place, the father not allowed to meet his son, then sister called desperately on June 8th to take care of her brother, when Rhea finally called it quits and left?
