Hope all well with everyone this Sunday morning! Today we remember with much love, affection and nostalgia our dear friends Seetha, who would celebrate her birthday this day! There was a child like demeanor in her, when she spoke of her birthday, an enthusiasm, as well as shyness, a reticence to talk more about her birthday yet a child like glee in sharing with us. I remember once we shared so many emails where she kept bombarding me with hints on when her birthday could be till in mock anger I told her, I give up and do not understand your riddles and the soft heart that she was, she immediately told me the date!😆

Let us celebrate today her birthday in heaven or where ever she is, in form or spirit, as we all know, she deserves every bit of happiness for being the most wonderful, caring, thoughtful, compassionate and sweet friend. that she was erudite and well read, was another feather in her cap but it was an accomplishment that enhanced her personality. How prolific were her writings, how astute her observations, how empathetic her feelings, she cared for any living being, not just humans. Today, I do not want to mourn her, that would upset her, it is her birthday, let us celebrate and wish her joy where ever she is and feel blessed we met her in our life time!!

Do you ever wonder if your loved ones actually celebrate birthdays in Heaven? Are they going to start all over, like being born again? Do they have big cakes with candles on them? Or perhaps they’ll use eternity candles, which are inextinguishable and burn perpetually since they can’t be blown out. Maybe they don’t need any candles at all since stars are their candles. Will there be guests at the birthday party? Will they bring gifts for the celebrant? Or perhaps, God is the ultimate gift and they’ll get a chance to enjoy Him all day??!!! Many questions, but there are no answers!😊

Will they get older? Will their party be full of games and laughter? It is certainly the God would be the party planner. When they sing the Happy Birthday song, and when they reach the lyric “how old are you?” what would be the proper answer? Should the celebrant write thank you notes to all the guests? -- Maybe the cool breeze carries the silent thank you whispers in our heart's ears!!!

Of course, we can only imagine what it would be like. But that won’t stop us from wishing a happy birthday to our lovely friend Seetha who might be celebrating her birthday in heaven. It matters that those left here below still love them and remember them fondly on their birthdays.

When we lose somebody who is close to our heart, the pain can seem simply unbearable. Loss of a precious friend can inflict a grievous wound on our heart — but that doesn’t mean we can’t express our undying love across the mortal veil for the friend we can no longer see.

Today I want to celebrate our Seetha's life, don't want to show my sorrow to anyone.

Seetha,our memories of times together might be precious, but they can never replace the presence of our missing loved one. We can wish for our lost birthday celebrant and still celebrate their special day!

It’s so hard to think about the past instead of wishing for a bright future to those we love. Seetha, you were always there and I always knew I could count on you when I needed you, to say or do the right thing to nudge me in the direction I needed to go. Or just to be there, providing silent strength to me when I grew weak or fearful. It hurt to say you are not with us, but you better believe we’re still going to celebrate your birthday even if you’re already gone.

Missed you today and always Seetha. I am hugging your memory. 🤗❤️
