i was thinking if u guys wanna include recent trends and stuff in A&S? like, nowadays, i think subtle colors or soft colors are currently in the trend...maybe best 'font' of the week..?

Categories suggestion:

1. Best Icon/Avatar (Animated & Non-animated)
2. Best Signature (Animated & Non-animated)
3. Best shop update of the month
4. Newest shop in town
5. A tutorial (It can be either be one posted by any member in the forum in that month or something we create)
6. Best psd
7. Best texture
8. A small glimpse of the contests to be held.
9. If we are going to have NL frequently, we can use it as a platform to announce the winners of the contests held in A&S forum.

10. Sometimes we forget about the captions. Most times, it adds additional value to the signatures even if it is one word. The key is using the right words that fits perfectly to enhance the signatures. So we can have a category for that if wanted.

u can add the best trending font used in the edits/ style like calligraphy or something as the 11th choice ? and for 12th choice, probably the best edit without the use of 'text'

Best/Newest font in town is a cool idea.

Best edit will include with and without text. It will become very repetitive if we make it two different categories.

We can include all running contests around the forum, all in one place. Kinda like the GAed thread. And we could congratulate the winners of the past contests.

Newest shop in town is a very good idea. :D

And yes, the trending styles, fonts etc.

How about sticky-ing one shop for a month after every newsletter? As the 'featured gallery' or something? That would also encourage people to filter out their stuff and be regular!
