MUMBAI: Another popular show is set to return with season 2!

After Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Ladies Special, Kaal Bhairaav Rashya, another iconic show is set to return with season 2.

Sony Entertainment Television is bringing its most celebrated show Beyhadh with the second instalment. According to our sources, the show will be launched post-IPL

The first season featured Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani in the lead roles, but for the new season only Jennifer has been retained and the casting for the other characters has already started.

TellyChakkar has now exclusively learned that the season 2 will be produced by Prateek Sharma under his banner LSD Films.

The earlier season was produced by Cinevistaas, however, the rights belong to Sony TV and hence the channel has decided to hand over the project to Prateek.

Though Prateek has been associated with Beyhadh as the writer and now he has turned producer with the new season.

Prateek is currently producing Manmohini on Zee TV and Laal Ishq on &TV. He is also producing a new Muslim -based show for Star Plus.

We tried reaching out Prateek but he remained unavailable for comment.

MUMBAI: Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah has been gaining an enormous response by the viewers for its unique storyline compared to the regular saas-bahu and supernatural dramas on TV.

The show, which is based on the concept of triple talaq, has been well-appreciated by masses for sending out a strong message. The show's leads Kabir and Zara, played by Adnan Khan and Eisha Singh respectively, are much loved for their chemistry and acting prowess.

After the success of Ishq Subhan Allah, producer Dheeraj Kumar is working on a Muslim-based web-series under his banner Creative Eye. The series will revolve around the youth.

The casting for the project has already begun, and it is expected to launch on OTT platform ZEE5.
