ITV nowadays is plain disappointing. We have a huge bunch of talented actors but there is a lack of decent scripts.Even characters start off well but get butchered down the line.We are really lucky that Ashish chooses finite shows where his characters are not only unique but are also spared from butchery.
If there are any two actors whom I would trust with the choice of scripts then they are Rajeev Khandelwal and Ashish Sharma.

I tried BP but the storyline is really weak and so are the characters.
It's a pity coz Jenny and HC have such a lovely chemistry.I wish they had come together in a more interesting show and with better characters.
In this case Ekta scores points coz Anurag Ganguly, the character which HC played in Tere Liye was not butchered atleast.Anurag remains his best character till date. And for Jenny it's Maya without any doubt.

I loved Ram-Prasuram confrontation
specially Ram's eyes, he talked only with his eyes

Today I was watching RR
Rudy-Dilsher confrontation

Dilsher:Marry Rudra, don't be like me, Please marry
These words and Rudys reaction. man his eyes
from shock to pain and the burst
Rudy:When u were feeding me poison all these years
u should have realized then
he is a kid, I should feed him milk and what am I doing
His tone, his rage, his hatred and pain
Man is he for real 😲

Also Rudra-Paro confrontation
After Rudra turns the table on kakisa and agrees for marriage😉😆
(Mohini's face was worth watching🤣)
when Paro holds him by his collar that killer look
then when she blames him for being heartless his looses it
uska kya...
those tears flowing as he cries for his comrades
when he warns Paro
I can do anything to bring back the lost reputation of my soldiers
ok let me stop here orelse I will go on and on😆😆

btw don't know tomo what show I will watch
can he come back already😆😆

I am gonna watch SKR since it's Sunday. That Swayamvar scene is unforgettable.Ram's eyes were so beautifully expressive
And don't get me started on THE Rudra Pratap Ranawat.Man!! What a character that was!! He had everything which I adore in a hero.He was complex and full of emotions. To the world he would appear like a time bomb which can explode anytime but deep within there was this boy whose childhood was cruelly snatched from him and whose wound was never tended to.

You know what I love the most about Rudra? There are several characters which use the trauma of their past as an excuse to commit wrong deeds. But Rudy never did that.He was bitter yes but he never lost his humanity. He had trust issues but he didn't drown himself in self pity and behave as if he was on the only person on this planet who was wronged by someone.
Rather he directed his attention towards serving his country and tried to suppress that pain simultaneously

I have seen few works of Rajeev he was good
Haven't watched his other projects so can't say
but yeah Ashu's choices says a lot about him
From GKD till Khejdi, he chooses the best

"Tere liye" I haven't seen fully
but I liked the pair, they were cute and the show was really doing well for SP
but then something happened btw Ekta and SP and the show was scrapped
when it was at its peak TRP

I have liked few mls
but when I try following their other works I usually get disappointed
Only AS made me watch all his shows😆😆
Now he has spoiled us to the extent that nothing except an AS show can satisfy us😆

So shall I talk about Avdesh Singh Thakur then😉😆
I watched two scenes of GKD too
that temple bell scene🤣
and AviTa night out the day before marriage😳

btw u have explained Rudy like Dilsher
World calls him a Devil but he is not
He is a innocent child
Its been long since anyone has caressed his head with love
His only lifeline is his uniform
that his dream, that keeps him sane
if thats taken from him he will end
RR dialogues are to die for
be it serious ones or witty ones
specially the one liners😆😆

btw I think RR is the only show where fl to manhandled ml equally
Paro held him by collar, hit him in Mela and what not😆😆

In a way aditya hooda is like Maya. U can't recreate him. If u attempt pathetic copies like nandini of silsila will happen. 😆😆

I meant DD is a popular actress that's why this show caught attention n got bashing, if someone else played Nandu noone would have cared to bash it to this extent, it's not the first time EMA is shown. But yes it the worst depiction so far after DSDT 🤢
Nandini is nowhere close to Maya, only few Jenny n DD pankhas say such things 😆
DD pankhus are like she's like Maya so don't bash her n Jenny pankhus are like she's a failed copy so Maya n deserves bashing😆
These fans I tell u 😆😆

Rangeela did have some well written ML's shruthi di, I am talking about their new love of showing EMA or relationships close to EMA as devine love.

How I wish it got the ratings it deserved and we got the original story
nevertheless its receiving love all over the world even today
and I don't think any show can match RR's initial beauty(contemporary show)
Also no AYM can be Rudra ever 😳
even we haven't got a crazy, innovative and fast moving forum like RR post RR
(mins the bashing offcourse😆)

ST if he goes back to his old ways
then I am sure Ashu will be his first choice
and Ashish will also like the script
but I don't think he will dare to go back

btw Aditi I used to call RSSI a crap
but not anymore, seeing the types of shows on TV
I should apologize for calling RSSI a crap 😆😆
problem with RSSI was the casting otherwise it had very good story
Specially London track, later also it wasn't bad
It got worse only with that RV nightmare track
Have we seen a ml like Ranveer in any show?
Atleast not to my knowledge
he was grey and realistic in the real sense
Fateh was typical AYM, if not for Ashu's dashing looks and
intense acting that track was nothing new

Rudra is I guess the only character (not just among ashu but all characters in tv i watched so far ) whose individual journey (not just as a lover) touched me so much. I love such raw and rustic characters and I think hardly any so called "AYM" was a raw character. Earlier in Rangu we had few MLs n then of course Avdesh but still Rudra scores above them for me. Because Rudra is someone who's past story wasn't shown as an excuse for his present actions. But it's used to show how he rose above his father and didn't let the history repeat itself.

He was a broken child, whose mom left/cheated his father. His dad vented out the frustration over a small child, day n night he kept saying his eyes are like his betrayer mother, he is like his momm who is bhagodi, Society mocked him n his father to an extent that they were forced to leave their home n move to a place where noone knew them. The mental trauma made him a drunkard like his dad. But he didn't let the depression consume him, instead he fought out by joining BSF, he channelised his anger in a proper manner by fighting for motherland . Then his job became his life. But he never ill-treated his father, he was rude but still he respected him n loved him.Ppl throw there physically challenged parents in old age homes, but Rudra took care of him. N Dilsher was rejected by his own wife because of his disability but the boy whom he kept feeding poison never left him alone. No wonder Dillu was so guilt ridden n wanted Rudra to move on n get a life.

Also best part was he did many things which usually grey characters do, like getting a fake arrest warrant, declaring a woman dead in front of her family, keeping a woman captive in his room but his intentions made him stand out, fake arrest warrant was to catch a terrorist, declaring Paro dead was to save her from Tejawat, keeping her in his room n not in jail was again for her protection.
Then he blackmailed paro to either sign papers or to marry him. But he didn't want her to marry him as he might make her life miserable.
An his patriotism sets him apart. I love that line, "I can cross any limits to get the rightful honour for my army men"
Its hard to find another Rudra in contemporary shows, only ST AS combo can do that I think😳

Since u guys are talking about Ranveer let me drop my few cents 😆
Script wise it was not something never seen before but it was certainly not like TV shows, it was more like movies. It was the first cross continental love story of TV. First 80 epi were shot in London.

The couple Ranveer Sahiba both were flawed n selfish. One selfish for dreams another for love, Daljit was an ideal man initially. I don't think they planned the whole story, they did change story n added masala but somehow it was unpredictable. Story was interesting till 180 episodes after that it became illogical. Nevertheless they punished Ranveer n somehow got even Daljit punished though a very very very mild punishment compared to RV who was punished so brutally 😡😭

Compared to the shows like Hassil EDT n even later part of Beyhad n all its surely good 😳😆

I don't think I have seen a character like RV even in thriller shows 😆
It took me time to like Ranveer. But once I got what the character was about (when he broke down in Big Ben track) I became a total fan of the character. Before RSSI Ashish was one of my all time favourite actors still I wasn't a fan. But with RSSI I became a fan. He was brilliant as Ranveer. Be it the fun loving one, or grey one or negative one or true lover one.
He subtly portrayed a range on emotions. Like when Ranveer manipulated Jazz it was not OTT faking look n then giving evil smile etc, it was subtle yet effective. U get it easily that he's faking n he's scary as well. Haan it had few moments where dialogues were ott llike the "whole world is my puppet I will write their fate" n he was playing with his fingers 😆 but acting was amazing.
His torture on Sahiba on Karvachauth day when great Sji kept vrat for Dji n shamelessly announced it to Ranveer is my all time favourite 😆

Now coming to RV as a lover, I thought no deewana junoon wala lover could have touched Ranveer's level but wohaa Prithvi toh crossed Ranveer's junoon n dard e ishq 😲😆
Anyway coming back to topic,Ranveer did everything in love, be it good or bad, his love story had childhood lovers intensity, friendship, pain or separation, obsession, craziness, jealousy, care, junoon n unrequited feeling everything in one .since makers were not clear with story n trying multiple tracks we got so much in RV's character. N Ashish made him look believable.
Ashish's best was mental hospital wala track. Uff so much love n pain for Sahiba, he forget himself but not his Sahiba 😭😭

RSSI / Ranveer is the only show /character where I feel it's Ashish who made the character. Or else I give credit to both actor n overall character n show

BTW I love Ranveer's voice a lot 😳😉

That was a beautiful walk through of Rudra's life
Past did effect his present but he stayed in limits
Like he hated beautiful women
but all he did was saving the beautiful ladies that crossed path with him😆😆
Lets see how he treated the ladies post his bitter past
Laila was like friends with mutual benefits
though it wasn't just friendship, both had their selfish reasons
for wanting each other
Maithili he maintained distance, he neither respected or disrespected her
Sunehri he didn't know how to handle her as she was fond of him
Mohini deserved all his hatred😆😆
Then comes Paro
what sets him apart from these women hater AYM's is
they will abuse a women just bcos she is women
bcos they hate women u see😆😆
but inspite of hating women and Paro's back drop(suspect)
giving him all the reason to hate her, he didn't mean to harm her
all he wanted was a sign, if she had done it, he might not have give a second look
Just that Paro tested his patience and he had to force her in different ways to
make her accept the truth(which he thought was the truth)

Leave all this
After that hate marriage and those heartless Vachans
what did he do to Paro
specially their SR🤣
