What?!!

Those are shocking incidents.

How can people be so heartless? Do this to their wives and daughters?

This is the state of women in our country and some would rather pretend it's a panacea for women.

🥱

OhMyGod.

The things that happen in this world shock me.

I can't even hit someone with full strength and people can kill others.

Blows my mind.

Exactly. Today we had a debate and discussion. And i was focussed on reading my book. So, it reached a point where I got super annoyed. The lecturer looked at me and was like, think of what benefits our country... So I told the person, that it doesn't matter coz I don't intend on living here anyway.
Lecturer: Be grateful you're in a country like India. There are countries worse (when it comes to issues)
I told him that there are people who abuse the best prividges given to them and take them for granted. When asked they console themselves saying that there are people starving in Africa, so they're much better off. And I personally do not believe in putting something down to make myself feel better about any situation.

That in life, we strive for better things and moving on is a part of it.

And legit cut the discussion short by mentioning all the issues in India and the glorification of abuse there is here. The Nirbhaya case has to be the worst of the worst, in my opinion. Like, how?

Forget it.

I mean, I do get discussions. But there's no point of discussions just for words. You say curb pollution by metros. I say there is so much discomfort, molestation and abuse that goes on there which no one taking any action to make it better. You tell me, there's things you need to sacrifice for betterment. How does this make any sense?

Sleep tight, Kabootri.

Adopt a child- I would like to. Not sure if I will 'cause children are a big responsibility and I don't wanna half ass it, but it's on my mind.

I could be wrong, but from whatever I've seen of Sunny Leone, she seems like a good person. The way she conducts herself and her adoption of Nisha to give her a loving home- admirable.

The kind I cannot makeup. 😆

Dude.

I don't even live in regressive parts of India. I live in a highly progressive state. And there's shit like this that happens. And you wonder what it's like outside.

Oh, and also, the discussion person was like you live in X state. Why worry what happens in the rest of India. It's not the same. You have much more freedom here. And I don't remember what I said to that. But I still don't get the logic.

Also, the adoption slash foster system or what I hear of it breaks my heart. I don't know what I feel about adopting a child though. Don't want to say no, but it's a huge responsibility and promise to say yes.
