U say turks are being called hot for their pale skin there's nothing offensive in your statement even we the turks have trolled the shit out of burak and hande not coz of their looks but their weird ass show ask laftan analmaaz...the show was a washout here
And seriously i dont get this obsession with white skin...it looks pale IMO im burning myself in sun to get a shade or two darker instead i got a sunburn ðŸ˜
I joined this forum to discuss bollywood but as u rightly pointed out they (the Bwf) discusses everything under the sun from the dick of an actor to secret affairs in Bw but nobody discusses hindia cinema
I fell in love with Bw after barfi but as im watching more and more bw flicks im getting pissed at their absurd stories and execution..
When compared to bollywood telugu industry(or is it tamil) are growing leaps and bounds with each passing film
I've watched 12 Bw films in 2017 and liked only two hindi medium and secret superstar rest were all trash but i just loved loved every tamil film i saw till date i loved charlie, poo,om shanti oshana, take off not only the perfomances but their execution was also par excellence which is a rarity in bollywood BW needs to pukl up its socks else tamil cinema will take over
BTW um going off topic can anybody tell me why ammir has such a big crazy fan following in turkey (i knw u shoukd ask me that but i dont knw after googling i got knw he is a big star in china too)

Hey Hiramur! Pleasure to meet you! Call me Kiara or Fairy, whatever you'd prefer! Hahaha no offense but I dint like Ask Laftan at all either! You know I was discussing this before with RTS, but these cheesy romantic shows never really get lots of appreciation from general public in any country! It's only teenage fangirls of romance who overhype them online! I totally get why you're frustrated! I was equally frustrated by the popularity of horrible Gul Khan shows in India! I am sure you guys feel the same for these cheesy, overrated romances! Do tell me about the stories of that show's reception in your country because people on here overrate it so much!
About skin, I think pale skin has been elevated for such a long time in our country that people have this firm idea that pale skin is the indicator of attractiveness, which is obviously absurd! It's mostly self-loathing and insecurity! The worst part is there is an implicit expectation that everyone else shouldn't question these standards but go along with these white-pandering standards! It's certainly pretty problematic! I think people are obsessed with what they don't have and it becomes toxic after a while! But again, never listen to bwf's idea of beauty and attractiveness!
About bwf, trust me, there's no discussion to be found there! People would discuss everything but the actual films! It's deserted for a reason! Don't take anything spouted on the forum seriously! I am happy to know that you enjoyed Tamil and Malayalam films! Malayalam cinema is beautiful in general! They have a meandering, whimsical charm that's not seen in any other industry in India! And yes, at today's date, South films are far superior to Bollywood! Watch Premam if you haven't already! It's on Hotstar! BW is really closed off for outsiders and their content has reached rock bottom in the recent years! Those Barfi days are long gone! Even so, I'd advice you to watch smaller, indie Bolllywood films which are still innovative and interesting! But mainstream BW is not watchable at all anymore! Also, if you are in mood for some gritty realistic cinema, do watch Marathi cinema, you'd enjoy them!
Oh I love Aamir, I am a huge fan actually! I have heard about him having a fanbase in Turkey! He has developed his East Asian fanbase (Koreans like him too) primarily since Three Idiots and his steady history of doing watchable films! Dangal was so big in China because the subject matter of female empowerment and sports appealed to people and Aamir has become a big draw everywhere! I am happy for that! I try not to overrate him even as an ardent fan, but he works towards making watchable, genuine films that no other actor in Bollywood does anymore! Plus his newer films have dealt with relevant issues like education, the importance of chasing dreams, female empowerment, religious double standards and so on! These issues affect most people around the world and especially Asia (prolly Turkey too) I feel, hence his popularity!
