TBH, I'm not a fan of Nakul's acting, even from his previous show. I think I started enjoying it better once LM came on board. And now with ipk closing down, IB seems to be getting better. Can't stand the Swetlana character.

Shivika chemistry... Very much there, I just find them a little loud. Still, I don't find the chemistry I found in HS last, in any of the couples. I think they screwed up with Om 's first girlfriend also, with the writing and I really don't know about the actress. So, I don't have full faith in Gul 'S casting abilities anymore.

Funny thing is, I used to think Shivya Pathania was not a great find too, but she seems to have found her place in the industry. Good for her.

I agree with you on Tanhaiyan too. Beyond exploring chemistry, I didn't find anything worthwhile... But Gul knew chemistry was enough to run it. 😉😆

I am still wishing for a good story for Barun from Gul 's camp with some great execution. May be in another three or four years... Sigh...

@bold I so so agree with you. Gul Khan has a knack to pick to good actors and make stars. She can get anyone to act, case in point, Mohit Sehgal in QH. The man is considered to be a non-actor but he was fabulous in QH and HaiRa were awesome.

That said, IB has had some lovely pairings working for the show. Why only Shivika, they are good but Rikara and Ruvya are good too, especially Rikara. The couples have palpable chemistry which is potent and electric. Plus, lets not forget the actors can act.

With IPK3, I would like to believe it was an eerie, prenattural, other-wrordly sort of a show that backfired. I wont say the script was bad, nah, it was very tight on papers. But one needs acting and execution to make the show work and that is why lacked in the show.

To be fair to actors, Sobti can create chemistry alone, none can. So when ST, who was lesser experienced and tad bit out of focus, failed to live upto the scenes, its obvious the chemistry backfired. Let alone chemistry, the scenes of the leads were plain boring and especially Chandni's. Her dialogue delivery is just unbearably bad.

I hate to say this, but I think most couples on other shows of SP have much better chemistry than the third instalment of a much loved show that took love stories and chemistry to an altogether new level in the history of Indian Television.

So whether one agrees or not, IPK3 is an epic failure. Period.

Ecri I gave up on IB before Rikara came into the picture and I liked Rumya and Shivika. They got rid of Neha who was very good. But that ship has sailed. I didn't watch DBO so have no idea about Rikara and Ruvya now!!! 😆

Chick - I agree Shivika are loud but then the character of Anika is suppose to be loud and not from the high society. One thing that has stayed the same throughout IB is the chemistry. The rest is all up and down and frankly I got no patience to watch nonsense... 😆

...and like you said chemistry can only sell so much. They need to have a good script. When will people like that... 😆

Why I keep insisting on Gul with Sobti...only her MLs have worked for me.
