The forum was oohing and aahing over chemistry, so I had great expectations from ipk yesterday.

As usual, Advaiy tha, his smouldering looks tha...but compared to chemistry I have seen in ipk 1 and tanhaiyaan...

It was okay. The o re piya segment sounded better on paper... Should have been more magical. Anyway, glad it was there.

Ghani baanwri would have been so much more better as Chandni solo. Sasha and Swetlana ruined the intensity and made Chandni look silly. Also, how much more sense it would have made if Sasha had gotten Chandni drunk. Both the songs would have made infinite sense.

Dheeru the father: he's awesome. He knows his son is nursing the bruises of the past, his past is making him respond to the present with blinkers on. Battles are won by strategy but sometimes the best of strategies can fail if the chosen battle is wrong.

Satrupa the mother is looking at the long term needs of her child her family. Anami thinks God is with her to win this battle against her mother! What she'll soon realise is battle is never about she against Satrupa it's about Anami of Banares against Anami of the Lal mahal!!
Did she realise that for the first time she claimed the Haq of the Poti of the Mahal to Kamini 😃

Thankfully Satrupa is still who she's been strong willed, unforgiving and ruthless. She might take the lowest cheapest trick from the rule book if she is forced to but she'll definitely have her way.

I know mothers have the ability to arm twist their kids to get their way 😆 strong mothers look out for their children. They'll pretend to close their eyes to the tears in their child's eyes if it's for their good!

Anami needs an education Pathak or not!! In her stubbornness she forgets that time and tide waits for none!!

It gave the feels of 'who-is-the-father' and why he is the one. Adhiraj needed to learn a tough lesson and that had to come from Dheeru, the one whose tasted it all.

Yes one of the better made shows in recent time on SP. Not that others are bad, but after the debacles SP has seen in the last few years, this one sure is a breath of fresh air.

You dint get the crux of the praises, its all comparative.

You see the show has faired below the mark, but scenes like these and especially towards the end of the show gave away the effort of the team. Are you getting my point.

@bold word word word. I actually thought that Chandni was drunk in the precap day before, but she was suddenly turned into someone who had a passion for dancing. 😕 Maybe the CVs forgot that Advay plays guitar and could shake a leg and not really Chandni.

Anyway, ST was fine yesterday minus the voice modulation.

I understand Ecri why it might look repetitive, there has been enough of tashan between the two which was placed in the right place of the storytelling.

The problem is the mother daughter duo is too far away from each other. Two individuals who are unwilling to bow down. Satrupa the mother who thinks blackmailing is the only way to get Anami to study.
Satrupa forgets that frustrating the daughter might get her temporary results but Is that what she wants? Satrupa is a mystery, what does she want? Does she wish for a relationship with Anami? Or Is she going to be satisfied as long as Anami transforms herself into the Anami who's fit to be the waaris of the mahal.

Writers have a huge challenge in front of them on how to carry forward the relationship of Satrupa Anami. Both being at each other's throats can be monotonous and take away the charm of the ma-beti tashsns. Wonder what will be the catalyst in changing the current equation between the two? Will Sudha's entry do the needful.

The father son scene was too good. Will write on chicks post 😳
