.Itt put me off so many writers whose posts I actually used to love reading..just because she didn't reciprocate to their awesome hero's feelings..she was the villian in the story

I am not saying the angle has come up just or better yet, being explored now. The fact Dey is the day Starupa gave away the girl, despite Gururji telling her not to, this was bound to happen.

Like how Anami asked her, that if her son was alive she would not have bothered getting Anami back, imo.

RKC - the show is something. Every character is so well written that it can be analyzed to the T. No one is black or white. Every one is grey. They are so real to life characters. Faulty, egoistic, loving yet naive to believe that world revolves around them👏

IPK3 - The ladoos yesterday too were a khchdi 😆 She made sugar syrup and yet added sugar to the mix and finally the coconut on top of besan I better not speak about ADI. What is wrong with the child.

I think its easy to put blame on VIk. That track can be easily managed without any complexity. Mother's are always seen in the good light. Even if the mother is bad she has her own reasons to be bad. That is the mind set of people. I think makers are taking the easy route out. Instead of making Satrupa outright non likeable she is given benefit of doubt.
I remember when Panditji confronted Satrupa telling that he asked her to give the first born and she decided to give girl child away. So I guess this is just the extension to that and answer to why she gave away the girl child.😕

I too think that a mother cant really be too negative and an out an our villainous. This angle had to be explored sooner than later

Is this supposed to be cute,mature and elegance that people praise her with and compare with the loud ott fl of s1 I'm not a die hard fan of Any actress but please this one looks like she's on a sugar high and all she's interested in is her latest fairy godmother gifted magic wand that gives her clothes and earrings which are supposed to be something that's so exciting she can't hold back her OTTness 😕 There is a reason why smart asses come on camera 😡 anyway I have moved on and things don't ruffle me but goodness this industry is as sexist as the world we live in. So much for nayi soch.

It doesn't matter what her reasons were Ecri..the fact of the matter is, she didn't want to be more than friends and probably wasn't comfortable with his over friendliness and didn't reciprocate

That shld have been it

There was no reason for juvenile behaviour and indirectly instigating fans who were ready to pounce on her for their shirtless heart-throb

Women can be the worst enemies to have..esp when they are demeaning you for a man they fancy/adore/love

ST and Dey,

I still don't get how the male heir works as justification for Satrupa. It is just a part of a Patriarch's orthodox thinking. His wife and best friend seem quite bewildered by it, so it gets with the story.

Just when they thought all problems related to the heir could be solved with Anami, Vik comes up with another road block in the name of male heir.

Vik just seems to be acting as a difficult old man, and it looks convincing to me.

Satrupa will not listen to Gayatri, who wants her to bond with Anami and take her away from Nar. So she decides a college education can do wonders, even if the girl might continue hating her.

Will we see the same struggle we saw with Baldev and Satrupa bickering over Vatsalya? Satrupa was ambitious then too, and Baldev had to point it out to her that V was just a child.

I find the characterisations intact.

@bold: which is a shame because the biggest USP of the show is how they handle complex situations and characters..didn't expect them to take the easy way out so soon

@dey, Benna: we three are probably the only people who find the shift in narrative unfair and the whole situation with Satrupa's justification hypocritical..

Most others seem to be ok to see Satrupa in good light..as Bhavi said..there is something about protrayal of mothers..they want to justify without making her wrong :( even though that takes away from the story

Even today guruji (hard to imagine Tom alter as one) asked Vikram if he didn't want to make Anami the heir since she was a girl and yet he himself had asked Satrupa why she gave away the girl child instead of Vatsalya who was born first..shouldnt he have known the answer then as well

It's definitely a new change

@ecri: Satrupa wasn't too negative or out and out villainous that she needed to be whitewashed like this..

I am worried the rate they are doing it and looking at Satrupa's conversation with Damo, it looks like Anami will be the one asking for forgiveness for doubting her intentions of giving her up 😆

Btw the seem to have a good bank of episodes..atleast 6-7..coz the shooting of today's scene of adhiraj getting drenched was done atleast 10 days ago

Oh and my by this na- insaafi to Pujans other son..I am sure he can't be dumber than Avdoot..so why didnt they consider making him the heir
