However, Sudha Baldev marriage will dissolve if Sudha had lost her me ntal balance which makes her incapable of continuing thr marriage .. Baldev will need to apply for that. If the couple is living separately for more than six months or the spouse is missing for more than 7 years, divorce is applicable.

So,if your question is if ' mang bharna' or mangalsutra pehnana' is marriage in India then its not. It never was.

There is this show Isshqbaaz which my MIL watches and it seems the wedding there is the only sequence going on.
