Sore T - of course I agree with you! I love Federer... 😆 I remember the defeats so well because I cried with him. It was awful to see him like that. But like Ecri mentioned there have been other tennis players who show their human side..which is great!

Loving the discussion everyone! I have a very very good setup at home. I live with my MIL as my FIL is no more anyways. He passed away before I got married. Even before we got married, my husband was very upfront that we will have to live with my MIL eventually when she decides to come. The key word is WHEN SHE WANTED. Once my SIL got married, it was very hard for my MIL to live alone. She only came to live with us down south because of my daughter and because my SIL is down in London too. She found it so hard to give up her life up north, her friends, familiarity, her own house etc. Yes the house is hers too that we live in as well but its hard for that generation to understand that.

Don't get me wrong, parents don't listen. They do things their way and no matter how much I try to tell her to chill and I can do stuff when I get home from work, she cannot sit still. There are some MIL's who probably wait for their DIL's to get home and give them work. Mine is the opposite. She will do all the work and I just do the rest that she wasn't able to finish.

Yes sometimes its hard because I cannot leave dishes in the sink because mom hates that. That generation is not like that. They want everything done right then and there. I have changed myself to become like that so these petty things don't bother our relationship (mine and hers).

My daughter has learned so much from her. Having her around is a blessing like Chick said. She is growing up with her Dadi around. I cannot ask for a better setup! I am truly blessed 😊

On a different note - I watched 2 mins of IPK3 last night with my MIL and BS looked bored. Why was chandni wearing that bright red saree and lipstick. The actress is very pretty but I see 0 chemistry with the leads. Sorry guys how is this a love story?

Anu - are you talking about Adhiraj? I liked him from the first entry... 😆 The actor has upped his game in terms of acting and its really good to see him in the same frame as Anami. I wait for their scenes!!! 😆

Rohingya crisis: How much power does Aung San Suu Kyi really have?

She is the most powerful figure in Myanmar. But on the issue of the Rohingya, Ms Suu Kyi must tread carefully. There is little public sympathy for the Rohingya. Much of the Burmese population agrees with the official view that they are not citizens of Myanmar, but illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, even though many Rohingya families have been in the country for generations.

But the Ethnic cleansing has resulted in thousands of people to flee Bangladesh and they cannot cope with so many people.

What do you guys think? Will she respond to outrage from UN nations?

What is actually happening inside the country and how much misinformation and misunderstanding is there?

And how much power does Suu Kyi have?

Ethnic cleansing is horrible, and sooner or later she will have to come out against it in some form or the other, I guess. If so, how well will she be able to convince her people, is the question.

I am reminded of Rahul saying the Sikhs who killed his grandmother were his friends. They used to play badminton with him. For the first time ever, I actually felt like this guy was trying to say something.

Not sure if he could say it clearly...but most often there are no listeners for the truth.

For the one's watching RKC here's what I wrote on a post on the forum:
It was indeed a comedy of errors 😆 yesterday!!

DNA test matters to everyone involved

While one half wants the test to be positive the other half wants it to be negative.

Adhiraj : He's not wishing for a positive nor negative test! He knows it'll be negative 🤣 OVERCONFIDENCE. In his blind hate towards the mahal wasis and his haste to bring them down he fails to use his mind properly. A shrewd woman like Satrupa who's been running the Business empire with the father in law won't destroy her own credibility by hiring a fake daughter!! Also the fact she herself requested him to do the test should have lighted up his grey cells but this is human nature, when we've a preconceived notion about someone we automatically think in that direction only!

Baldev: He's also not looking for a positive nor negative test. He's sure it'll be negative because according to him, he has fathered only one child with Satrupa! His preconceived notions about his wife whether right or wrong time will tell, but that has blinded him to the possibility that Anami is his own blood.

Satrupa: She's got nothing to hide , requests the DNA test herself , her worry about Baldev's corporation in doing the test got over when he gave the go ahead to Adhiraj! But something does worry her and that's her own daughter!!
She sees the younger version of Satrupa in Anami, who won't bent so easily especially when she's been forced to do things.

Pujan: He wants it negative because unlike the Dadaji and Baldev his dimag Ki Bhatti lighted up after observing Satrupa and Dadiji's actions.

Dadiji: wants it positive because she believes Anami can reunite this broken family. Reunite Baldev with his father. Baldev and Satrupa and ultimately Dadaji getting healing through the presence of his grandchild who can hopefully fill the void vatsalya has left after his demise!!

Poonam is in big trouble but silly girl you do deserve it 😆 She's so cute but she's going to be roasted 😕 But it can also be that like a Damo is faithful to Satrupa, Poonam sees Anami in the same way!!

As much as there was glaring loopholes in the episodes I'm a happy viewer because they did show the reality of healthcare and law enforcement in the country.

When the system itself is filled with manipulative people like that lab assistant ,people like Pujan have their work cut out for them!!
Like the dialogue by Pujan, the so called honourable people of society themselves are the true culprits.

My MIL has OCD along with few other issues. The first few months of my marriage were not very nice.In sharp contrast, my FIL is very reasonable. So, I guess that balances the equation.

I am looking forward to the new entry. That will be a breather. But if I think about the track changes, I feel sorry for the actors who were hoping to get meaty roles in the show and are now waiting to be called back (read Veer). Now there are so many characters in the show that I wonder what will happen if they all tapko in one place 😲
