After what they did with DABH and then showing PPK as progressive I have decided I will stay away from SSP. They are more dangerous than EK maiyya. EK Maiyya propogates hypocrisy, but these people are outright selling regressive content as progressive.
@aditi since I studied in convent I know why people do get attracted to christianity when it comes to solace. I dont know whether you have visited church, but I used to visit the church inside our school. Not only me, many of our friends did that. There is a certain calmness to that place. You can tell the acoustics is like that. You really feel an inner peace. It is not the religion that makes you feel that way, but the place.
Second the way fathers and nuns speak. Some of the elderly nuns in the convent really assure you. It is not the type of talk of salvation, but it was mostly the belief in God.

Our Temples mostly noisy, our priests preach, frighten, rahu, ketu and what not.

Changing religion for food. Food is the basic need of the humans Aditi. No vedas can replace hunger. If a particular religion gives food, well then that faith becomes God. You cant help it.

If Sanathana Dharma has to thrive, then it has to bring out the knowledge. It has to redesign its practices to suit the times. It has to tell the new generation the relevance of epics with respect to present times.

In our community people are telling many girls are running away and marrying men from other castes. When in my family this was discussed, I told instead of blaming the girls analyze the reason for the same. As a woman I can tell I dont feel valued in my community. Girls are not respected. All our traditions, rituals favour a boy and a girl is only for giving birth to a boy. A girl's education is not valued. I have heard many boy's parents speaking without respect to my father when they were searching suitable alliances for me.
So if you want girls in your community, learn to value them, respect them and change unwanted traditions that stifle them or make them non existent.

That's right Churches have a soothing aura. Also the methods of puja are difficult at time in hinduism, like fasting and all, though now it everyone has a choice if they want to fast or not. So people do get attracted to other easier methods...
Actually its mostly when one goes through difficulties that the faith starts fainting.
I was reading a book which said when difficult times come we all say why this happened to me , why me? but when happiness comes then we never say why me? But yeah all these words are inspiring to hear but difficult to practice in reality.
Now times are changing, at least in my near locality, noone is forced to do something in the name of religion... Even priests have become better now , that how i feel.

@aditi it is not about practicing it or not practicing it.it is about why we need to practice it. The why is missing. Why something is needed has to be told and then allow individuals to chose. Simple thing wearing a Saree. Why should I wear a Saree. Why can't I wear jeans. Answer is when u wear jeans someone had succeeded in keeping their culture alive. When u wear saree ur keeping ur culture alive. Take good things from other culture but don't destroy ur culture completely. Jeans and Saree can go hand in hand based on situation. Same with language which I guess had put in another post. We need to know the philosophy of India which is rooted in sanathana dharma. Lot of effort is needed in this direction if we have to preserve our culture. Our stories, dresses, language all this form soft power which we will have to use.it was not a small thing for an American president to light a lamp in white house and wish Indians Diwali. There are many such things that needs to be done. We have to build respect for our culture. It is only possible if we respect it.

Watched all Eps of RKC till now
Interesting show and perfect casting except for one
The one who plays Adiraji can barely emote and
looks like model than a CBI officer
Otherwise the show is gripping
