I think Jodha-Akbar became a big thing as it was Hindu-Muslim, more than anything else. That is true. But we live in a world where simply respect for being a fellow human being is not given. Rape, domestic abuse, acid attacks- all have become common nowadays.

@Sakhi- I didn't read any of those books, but that show which has Mitali Nag as Draupadi 🤢
@Janaki- you are right about normal marriages. But, you know? I don't believe Dhritarashtra and Pandu were Vyasa's biological sons 😆When I agree Pandavas and Draupadi are humans more, I can't agree with partial thing 😕

What do you believe about them? 😆I generally believe most of Vyasa's Mahabharat, I feel no need to disagree with it. I only discard certain things which I feel disrespect God, like Krishna telling Arjun to kidnap Subhadra because she can't make her own mind and might choose Duryodhan. I don't believe Krishna would have approved of Arjun and Subhadra's marriage if there was a chance she liked Duryodhan, so that dialogue seems out of place to me. I also don't agree with Balaram's pro-Duryodhan dialogues because Balaram supported Dharma just as much as Krishna did, but otherwise I don't find any need to disagree with the epic, lol.

I believe they were mantraphal 😆 As Vyasa was a divine sage and can do such magics 😆Well, it's not a Vyasa Mahabharata persay. It's incomplete and diluted. There are evidences that during British rule, our scriptures got diluted 😡🤢
