That is true. But we live in a world where simply respect for being a fellow human being is not given. Rape, domestic abuse, acid attacks- all have become common nowadays.

I love Ruquaiya too. <3 I hate how media has degraded her into this jealous vamp. She was in fact a regal and shrewd queen who ruled Akbar's harem well. She was his chief queen and all the other queens and concubines looked up to her for guidance. Although she was closer to Salima who was her confidante, she shared a decent camaraderie with Harkha too, and she was happy when Harkha gave birth to Salim, because her childlessness was always a point of disappointment for her, as she wasn't able to give Akbar an heir.

You're right. Jodha-Akbar became a big thing because of the whole Hindu-Muslim thing, but the reality was so different. It was not a love marriage nor a hate marriage. It was a political alliance, and Harkha respected Akbar, and vice verse. There was no love/hate element that is shown in movies and shows. Akbar respected both Salima and Harkha, but Ruquaiya was his true love. He went to her for guidance on how to rule the kingdom, and they made many political decisions together.

@Sakhi- I didn't read any of those books, but that show which has Mitali Nag as Draupadi 🤢
@Janaki- you are right about normal marriages. But, you know? I don't believe Dhritarashtra and Pandu were Vyasa's biological sons 😆

When I agree Pandavas and Draupadi are humans more, I can't agree with partial thing 😕

Oyyeee, now you make it seem like we disagree on everything. 😡😆

I think we agree for the most part when it comes to Ramayan. 😆 And even in Mahabharat we agree on most things, just not the Pandavas' divine ansh, but besides the whole ansh thing, I think we agree regarding the story and our opinions on the characters, lol.

What do you believe about them? 😆

I generally believe most of Vyasa's Mahabharat, I feel no need to disagree with it. I only discard certain things which I feel disrespect God, like Krishna telling Arjun to kidnap Subhadra because she can't make her own mind and might choose Duryodhan. I don't believe Krishna would have approved of Arjun and Subhadra's marriage if there was a chance she liked Duryodhan, so that dialogue seems out of place to me. I also don't agree with Balaram's pro-Duryodhan dialogues because Balaram supported Dharma just as much as Krishna did, but otherwise I don't find any need to disagree with the epic, lol.

I believe they were mantraphal 😆 As Vyasa was a divine sage and can do such magics 😆

Well, it's not a Vyasa Mahabharata persay. It's incomplete and diluted. There are evidences that during British rule, our scriptures got diluted 😡🤢

JanuMaa, we do agree on most things Ramayana and Mahabharata. What we disagree on is Nila, the Shri-Bhu-Nila Sita and Bhu as Alamelu 😆😆 And the Bhumija thing 😆😆 And Karna Bhaiya 😉
Though I do believe the stories more the way Panchu does, we do agree on most things 😛
