Once again, in the minority who didn't mind KT's acting. He had that stillness in him, he was never that physically active dude except when he's angry and being physical. Just one part i didnt feel was when he was strangling, it didn't look like he was choking her. I am aware Kushal was not actually choking jen😆 but a tighter grip or even him flexing fingers, a more sinister look on his face would have made it look like he was really strangling her to death. Maya's smirk as he came back and pushed her behind was exactly like what she wanted. Mission accomplished. Now onto greater plan 😛

PS- Sanjh saing arjun's love killed her dad. Can be interpreted in two ways that arjun's love to maya/to sanjh killed him.

Good thing- The chick, shivani. Under 50kg of bakwas dress and a blouse which seemed to be inspired from old bengali movies from Uttam kumar era (they probably had better deisgn) she had that demure quiet acting which is so Gul. of course girl need to be physically demure submissive docile or how passionate manhandling romance will happen😆 She was probably assaulted in past which scares her so much she dont come out of house.

Bad- everthing else. I am not sure if I should start from timing or characters😆😆 Ok barun. He dont look good at all. someone chop off his hair, even the beard looks bad. But since beard is Gul style so for now hair, please someone🤢 his eyes are dead and it can be interpreted as the character or bad acting itself. I am shocked as i say this, but in ishqbaaz he came and nakul seemed to be better than him😆😆 he was so out of sync with that fun comedy mood of IB/Nakul. The damn set- looks expensive and in a wrong way. so 90s. and FAKE!! its outdoor and dont look realistic at all, almost like bad green screen or something. The dresses. Holy shit where do i start. Those earrings, sarees, those sindoor wala maang which was like saying aao, mujhe dekho, ugh there is this sindoor brand called Rangajaba in my native, even my mom used to use when she got married later switched to liquid sindoor. It had that ghastly red color, ipk3 probably got that sindoor from my native and used them, Everthing was so loud i probably need glasses. the bahubali scene that everyone knows now, it got better later but out of nowhere some goons tried to stop advay/barun and he gave a fling kick and the guy went flying 100 ft away, it looked so ajeeb i swear i will worship khilladi420 by akki after this🤢😆 the guy who helped him was cute. then there was this kinnar scene where they tried to enter mandir and shivanis family was like you cant, and that asshole slapped one of the kinnars and they tried to scare him by loudly clapping on his face like train mein hijras does, i am not sure if that was empowering or insulting. and shivani was doing some old puja, and there was haldi ceremony?? like shes getting married to god...anyways flashback scene where kid advay was doing this puja in his childhood and idk which puja allows kids talking to each other when rituals going on and one of them is sitting right in the middle of puja😆😆 also advays family was old khandan whom mandir used to belong and shivani in her childhood told people his mom was flying in air like a witch and they probably killed her and banished them from village, this is the past which was over through voice over. so now its all about him teaching her lesson, reason is fine. Girl is submissive for right reasons so none can complain she's doormat and so and so. Someone in ipk3 forum mentioned about bodice ripping romance and i will say yes, dupatta is here in place of bodice and the girl keeps fainting. didnt watch today epi.

moral of story we have seen more trash than this so will probably watch more. Not snarky enough this is, but i m from lappy and IF gives so grieve i swear😡🤢

Ri - Agreed about KT's acting. May be, Arjun was supposed to be like, 'Go on you filthy piece of a human being, enlighten me with your baby doll adventures'.

Ri and Jaz - I have no issues with you both discussing IPK3 or any other show/actor for that matter but just be careful because you know why & who. 😆

Here are some elements the show is made of

- Devdas (Advay & Chandani's childhood equation & occasional BG scores) and how families conspired to separate them.

- Rudra-Parvati/Shiv-Sati/Shiv-Gauri/Shiv Parvati like relationship drawing a gazillion parallels in every other scene. (Basically, how Advay-Chandani's hate story will turn into love story eventually)

- Sherlock (He calculates the angles and inclinations Sherlock style, his intellectual abilities are supposed to be on par with Sherlock. Okay, I can't even 😳 🤣)

- Bahubali (What is he supposed to be? Bahubali? Hulk? Terminator?)

- Tollywood movies inspired action scenes (look at those men flying and flip flopping in the air)

- Add lots of OTT elements, characters & acting, some good cinematography & grand sets, atrocious clothes & accessories, some angst and traumatic past for the leads, etc, you have the show ready.

As for Barun' acting, found him loads better in IPK but I guess its a little early to judge. So far he's supposed to look 'dead inside' and 'pained' and he's done a decent job at that. Shivani looked and acted docile, nothing much to add there.

I hate beyhadh but I love it too.

At least it has the ability to pull me to the tv every 9 pm.
