Amarendra walks in much like Mahadev Shiv; the Rudra inside him rages as the Bhole within him calmly takes in the entirety of the situation. For he doesn't confirm with anyone else but his equal half for what transpired; this and this alone speaks volumes of the relationship the two share - the trust - the bond.

When Amarendra strikes Sethupathi; he reminded me so much of Mahadev's fearsome form of Veerabhadra -- feel the wrath, Sethupathi, you good-for-nothing-chap.

A lot of symbolic things happening in this movie -- such epic feels!

Oh, I so agree!

There were so many tones to Amarendra and Devasena's characters. They showed people that even normal human beings can be like Adi Parashakti and Mahadev. They can be Rudra and Raudri. They do not have to be deities in order to live a dharmic life. It is possible and attainable for human beings, if they are only willing to work hard and make the effort.

You are right there Janaki. I also feel that Bhalla wanted Devsena to break down and show any form of weakness, which never happened Thank God.

That's why he was angry, upset, disgusted when Mahendra freed Devsena and he had no clue where she was.

All the torture bestowed on her fed him and his ego. And his hatred.
