so bharti you mean basically the dosti wala pati patni bond will continue even after this supposed *divorce* HAHAHA

ok i am not overthinking frankly am not even mad at today i actually liked the shivika parts a lot today so if they are giving me good writing reason for this divorce and are able to handle it it's ok temporarily . if that means him unveiling pinky's true face Bring it ON but yeh kabhi itne angst main nahi jayenge inse handle hi nahi hota for more than 2 days

u think pinky's true colors will be revealed though? wont they just brush it under the carpet like for tia??😆

i posted in asya's thread though i did calm down a bit after talking to you that yes today was not the time for anika to take a stance 😉 but i hope u get my point here as well. not today but a day two, a few weeks later she needs to stand up

i am pasting what rani said about anika and her characterization as she put it across much nicely than i could 😉

It's a serial so she can't leave because all this drama is happening for her. If she left Pinky would have no one to torture.

Logically, emotionally, and practically her brother should come first, but he doesn't. When her MIL hires some sleazy woman to be your mother, she throws herself down stairs, tells her to her face that she planned it all with no intention of stopping until she is thrown out and her little brother is exposed to kidnappers then you get the hell out 😆

Her whole character sketch was about surviving on her own, paying her own bills, and taking care of her brother, but now suddenly because she is married she can't function without him. The writing is stupid when it comes to her. Shivaay has been consistent throughout and ALWAYS stands up for his family no matter what. She on the other hand doesn't give a damn about her brother or her self-respect. I can't even hate Shivaay because he is just protecting his family.

She should be angry that her brother was kidnapped and that he threw that fact she is an orphan so callously in her face. She should be angry like Shivaay was angry because she accused his mother. The reality is she isn't meant to have rational or logical emotions she just cries and apologizes because that is her role.

now back to shivika equation - you and i have talked on other posts so nothing much to add here. my take stays the same, i understand shivaay's outburst when anika didnt keep quite about his mom in front of everyone, this shows that anika just looks at facts and doesnt know when to keep quite (probably the reason behind this is the stark reality that shivaay rightly did point out is because she has had no family in her life). she says things as they are, is innocent and naive enough to do that

i am also fine with the sorrys in the end, as u rightly mentioned relationships take time, need work but my issue is mainly with anika's character sketch

it looks like she has been sitting to be thrown out by her husband or his mother for the past 6 months which will probably happen next week now - given that pinky is on a war path and her son will only believe her. the acid in mehendi thing seems to be written to humiliate anika more and will show pinky as triumphant once again - either with anaika's hands being burnt or her being proven wrong one more time in front of everyone 😕

and yes, i am not saying she needs to walk away from her marriage but she needs to take a stance. a sister would have been angry for her brother, would have probably taken a temporary break and said listen figure out stuff with your mother and sort things out and then i can come back, i dont feel safe here - yes i am just saying things as i would have in this situation

Reg. Shivika i think pretend drama. Logic toh hota nahi. Elvira also told its pretend divorce only. Kab kaise baad me batayenge which won't make big sense anyway.

Right about angst. They did such violent forced marriage and did not use it for any angsty romance at all. I truly believe Cvs don't want to do this TRP stuff. They do it to get TRP then move back to their regular format. I know many were disappointed that forced marriage was not used for "angsty romance".😆

Abhi divorce me bhi wohi karenge. They may show all fight high drama and flip it as fake. TRP drama bhi hogaya and Cvs ka no real drama bhi reh jayega.

She told day before y'day that its pretend divorce only. In DBO forum also someone asked. She said it.

DBO has lot of inside info wale. IB has none. And i think Elvi is promoting the new girl track too much I feel like she campaigns.😆

hahahaha yeah she even created an AT - i think may be its her way of supporting the show since she does get a lot of info from the friend who is employed there after all. so understandable - dost ke pet pe laat thodi na maaregi 😆 and everyone knows how much people hate the new girl so campaining pe laga diya hai kuch logon ko here and there

I get it I get it but you really think that saying I am leaving you figure this out will solve anything you think he will follow her or stop her in that case NO he will be like jao bhaad main Idc either yeh baat ego par aa jaati and that is toxic for any relationship .mujhe personally iss situation main thoda bend karne main koi harm nahi lagta but that is my pov and who said she doesn't care for sahil and wasn't bothered for him she went straight to sahil and not pinky she kept asking if he was ok even the Monday episode she is concerned for her brother but that doesn't mean she is going to pick fights ESP at risk of her only other rishta in the world

Anyway let's agree to disagree I am not disregarding your opinion or pov I just think it wasn't the wisest thing to do
