Yes IPKKND is back with a new season. Only BS is playing the character of Advay Singh Raizada, while Sanaya is not on the show. Makers are Gul Khan and SP is the channel. The show has created a lot of buzz for the comeback of the actor who quit the same show 5 years back and also, cos the diehard Saerun/ Arhi fans are on a rampage on SNS.

Well I guess I sound like a martian who has just discovered indian television🤣 I never watched the first season, was never much of a TV person till 2015 when I caught a couple of episodes of Swaragini and fell for the lead pairs. Surprisingly I never watched much of the serial subsequently (the serial was very very bad) though I ended up here and writing fiction and fan fiction.

But then when the serial was on air, the forum was poisonous, not all, most were nice, and a few are a very good pals of mine now, but then there were a few who simply turned every post into a war zone. It was disturbing and mind boggling. Now with the serial off air, all of them have disappeared, and it is similar to a slightly more active Writers' Forum - I like it for the only visitors are those who want to read or update their own stories.

Definitely very peaceful, so I sort of get it when you say that experiences could be bad. Someone makes a post, with very strong opinions, you do not agree, you get bashed or labelled as a solo fan (which is not as demeaning as some of the other labels). I remember one incident, when some of us felt that the ML was more right than the FL, and it went spiralling, one member went to the extent of saying that this reflects the attitude of women in India, they only support men which is why the female actress is not be supported for what the FL has done. I was and am at a loss of words. Till them I would add a comment or two but after that, it was only to read posts of those members whom I "knew". It leaves a very bad taste especially when the TMs and the rest cross all limits and even the actors / their families are dragged in and opinions cast on all those who do not support their opinions.

So currently, I only read the fiction in WC, and fan fiction on the SR forum, and generally browse hoping to find another friendly home like the Treehouse, not too diligently searching, do not want to spread myself thin.😊 I also want a chunk of free time, before I start off reading your fan fic - I am not going to read it in bits and pieces, so really wanting a week or so, where I just sit and read. But read I will and then I will ramble (I do that, often and hopefully, well. Which is an oxymoron, how does one ramble sensibly😆)

Okay, I will give it a pass, I never saw IPKKND in the first place, and the few ff I did, killed any intention I might have had. I would not watch many Indian shows earlier too, but now with a one year old nephew, time is a huge constraint, and any few minutes I can steal I use it to stick to the threads I like and the few FFs that I write.

But do let me know your take.
