They started s2 thinking new show new characters and it's basically feel like this. I mean can you imagine old dev behaving like yesterday's epi twisting hand and basically accusing her of being a characterless sl*t ??? Thing is if we wanted Gul show we would watch her show. We didn't come to mamta to watch Gul, we came to watch a subtle nice soothing show with no drama.

I always felt Dutta has a misogynistic view of woman. It's not him like every single writer who write these angsty louu stories portrays woman as this giant monster who ruined their amazing life and left him for some other thing. Randhir I loved that guy but boy did I want to smack him every 5 mins. He blames his mom for everything but never realized his dad was basically good for nothing bewda and his mom was into money so much cause she bloody paid for housheold and him! He carried over that anger and sense of Injustice to Sanyukta who never backed down, and when he felt she's not like that he never changed his ways, kept treating her like he did to her mom. I mean wth, what else you needed to differentiate not every woman is your mom! And I hated how they never cleared his mom was right in her place and it's his dad who was a failure. They confirmed that mom was at fault and made him big ass angsty hero for no fault of his except his mentality! Don't get me started on s2. And Indian show has this mentality to show nuclear/divorced family kids are messed up and only joint family and can fix them. W*F it's so insulting, like I come from nuclear family and we go meet my grandparents once in a year, if anyone ever insinuated I am lesser than my counterpart who grew up in a joint family I would beat them. I am not damaged, not broken, my parents worked hard to make me a good human being, I am no less than a man, neither I lack in sanksaar and my parvarish is good. On other hand I am self sufficient, don't look at others for my work. I am independent, I don't get scared thinking to move out to different state as opposed to my cousin's and aunts who freak even letting their kid stay in others house for a night! I am not putting them down, I am saying a person who don't grow up with two parents or don't live with cousins and grandparents is not damaged like Indian telly thinks. Like we are becoming urban so fast we literally have to search for good ol joint family. The telly needs to grow up the f**k up in order to find new viewers.
