The first half of the episode made it look like that. They clearly did not show her picking up the key from the table. I won't be surprised if they won't clarify this and make Sanj get Ayan out without really proving to the audience or showing clearly her taking the key. By now I understand the writers to want things half open half closed it looks like.

People who is viewing this show with Maya is a victim and everything she does is justified because of that takes her as a victim from every single thing the writers keep half open out there.

People who is viewing this show as yes regardless of the fact that Maya is a victim does not give her the right to victimize others and is responsible for her actions views events more objectively I guess.

He did try to sexually intimidate her. There are no two ways about it. But what Maya may have planned was to set him up on account of assault and battery but Ayaan crossed the line in his attempt to retrieve the keys from her and mouthed those uncouth lines and landed himself in more trouble.

In the MF recently there are some nice logical viewers who has joined MF which makes discussions more interesting

Ridhi's character began as a grey one but later on it took a darker turn.But her character is really smart and sassy which makes it interesting.

I don't follow Waaris so I don't know much.But I did hear that Akshay's character is negative.

I also mentioned this show in the MF sometime ago. Nisha's character is an out and out psychopath who physically tortures an old man of the household every now and then just to annoy her husband, I heard. The last I checked, people on the forum hate her with a passion!

Maya lost Arjun due to her effed up mind. If she let him breathe a little, he would have stayed in love with her and probably would have helped her to recover too.

Arjun can't really help Maya unless Maya agrees to be helped. Maya is unreservedly blind to other peoples' opinions. She sees what she wants to see. All Arjun can do is forcefully throw her in a loony bin but since the show has to go on. it's not gonna happen.

There is a French movie , " He Loves Me..He Loves Me Not"
The female lead suffers from erotomania which is a delusiona disorder. She was forcefully admitted in an assylum. After 3 years she comes out pretending to be all hunky dory and competely cured but when the cleaner goes to clean her room , he finds all her medicines stacked up inside a wall.

I think this show might have an ending like this one too if they don't wanna copy GG blatantly.

This would be a nice ending...wickeddd. Maya coming out playing the doctors into believing she is cured while the meds are untouched then finding the next Arjun to trap. Wickeddd. But Indian tv will not give an ending like that.

You know what?? I wouldn't have a problem if Maya had accused him of trespassing on her property and raising his hand on her.Coz he is guilty of that.He deserves punishment for the crime he has committed.

But rape and sexual assault?? Ayaan would never ever do it.He wouldn't even think of it.Moreover Rape is not a small accusation.It can ruin Ayaan's life,his reputation,his career,everything.Especially when Ayaan is clearly innocent.
I will never support a rapist.Infact I believe that rapists deserve punishment worse than death itself.But I won't support a woman who falsely accuses a man of raping her either.Infact such women who misuse anti rape laws are a shame to the entire womankind.It's because of such women that those women who actually suffer from such things are misunderstood.

Totally. I just cannot bring myself to believe Ayan is capable of it. Whereas maya will go to any length to keep Arjun with her. There is no sense of right or wrong in her.

I beg to differ here.

Ayaan had seemed as if he no intention to rape her and the idea/theory/view that he tried to sexually intimidate her can be debated or challenged. Ayaan, without a doubt, crossed lines for physically assaulting her and he should be legally punished for that. His word/dialogues can be interpreted in two ways.

a) He was telling her that he knows and understands the kind of woman/person she is (insert Arjun's recitation of what his life was like in the past 3 years) and thus, he won't allow her to get away with anything she intends to do to him or to Arjun or to his family.

(His dialogues, expressions, body language, tone and mannerisms and the physical assault were something I strongly condemn personally. There's absolutely no room to give him a clean slate there, in my opinion)

b) He intended to sexually intimidate her.

Personally, I'm inclined to think there is a high chance it meant point (a) because he was aghast the accusation Maya threw at him and it did seem like sexual intimidation or rape was something he wouldn't even commit in his nightmares. If he had said or done anything of what happened to a man, it wouldn't have been doubted upon a case of merely a verbal and physical tussle between two men. But since it's a man and woman here, it depicts an entirely different picture and makes situation to understand incredibly harder because of the personal sense of judgement and sense of right and wrong. And if the viewer happens to be a woman herself, it makes trying to understand the whole situation even harder.

If under any chance, it meant point (b), Ayaan better be severely and legally punished for it.
