I differ slightly...Maya hasn't made Vandana's fears a reality....Vandana's fears were ALREADY a reality...It's not that Vandana's non acceptance of Maya made her what she is...Vandana didn't accept her because of what she was & is...😃

Maya couldn't have lived happily ever with Arjun...N Vandana had seen thru that...

I haven't watched Woh Apna Sa, but Riddhi's character was said to be "grey" at the beginning, but in some later interview, she mentioned it was "negative".

Is her brother's (Akshay) characterisation in Waaris grey or negative?

Yup I do follow them.I like Richie McCaw a lot.
Ridhi's character began as a grey one but later on it took a darker turn. But her character is really smart and sassy which makes it interesting.

I don't follow Waaris so I don't know much.But I did hear that Akshay's character is negative.

Pretty sure simmy will leave him. As of now Vandana is trusting him but if Arjun don't trust him then it will be a huge deal for Ayan. His brother is like everything for him. Arjun and Ayan's love for each other is one of the best things in this show.

I doubt Ayan will kill himself...Saanjh will get into serious investigative mode after ayaans trial , I think...

LOL @ Penfolk. That was hilarious.

Maya lost Arjun due to her effed up mind. If she let him breathe a little, he would have stayed in love with her and probably would have helped her to recover too.

Arjun can't really help Maya unless Maya agrees to be helped. Maya is unreservedly blind to other peoples' opinions. She sees what she wants to see. All Arjun can do is forcefully throw her in a loony bin but since the show has to go on. it's not gonna happen.

There is a French movie , " He Loves Me..He Loves Me Not"
The female lead suffers from erotomania which is a delusiona disorder. She was forcefully admitted in an assylum. After 3 years she comes out pretending to be all hunky dory and competely cured but when the cleaner goes to clean her room , he finds all her medicines stacked up inside a wall.

I think this show might have an ending like this one too if they don't wanna copy GG blatantly.

I pray it doesn't come to that.Ayaan is one of my favourite characters.
You know what?? I wouldn't have a problem if Maya had accused him of trespassing on her property and raising his hand on her.Coz he is guilty of that.He deserves punishment for the crime he has committed.

But rape and sexual assault?? Ayaan would never ever do it.He wouldn't even think of it.Moreover Rape is not a small accusation. It can ruin Ayaan's life, his reputation, his career, everything.Especially when Ayaan is clearly innocent.
I will never support a rapist.Infact I believe that rapists deserve punishment worse than death itself. But I won't support a woman who falsely accuses a man of raping her either.Infact such women who misuse anti rape laws are a shame to the entire womankind. It's because of such women that those women who actually suffer from such things are misunderstood.

Everyone is so focused on the smaller picture AKA Ayan's action (which in no way can be justified and he is paying the price) but the bigger picture how Arjun was reconciling with his family and how Maya enters and give such a big blow destroying them penalizing them for trying to separate Arjun from her. She pretty much screwed Sharma family like so badly.

Exactly...See, from Maya's pov, she drugged Arjun n took him back to her house...Fine...But what next? Next morning, Arjun would have returned home...He was already rebelling in the ambulance...Hence, when Maya saw Ayan following them, she quickly drafted her game plan mentally...Then,

1)she tied n locked Arjun on purpose for 2 reasons:
I) Arjun shouldn't interrupt them during her drama with Ayan in case he wakes up
ii) to instigate Ayan n make him angry...To rile up his male ego..

2) she locked Jhanvi in her room too...To stage her rape drama she needed Jhanvi out of the way...

3) when she saw that Ayan was livid with rage, she purposely hinted to him that the key was in her dress...Which she knew he would try to reach out for, but she also knew that he would never dream of sexually abusing her...

4) Ayan neatly fell into her trap n she accused him of rape...

5) The main point now, she faked a suicide, after releasing Arjun's hands n legs (so that he could save her), n then laid such a massive guilt trap on Arjun's mind, that will most probably serve to hold Arjun with Maya in the near future n stop him from walking out....Ayan, once again , is merely collateral damage for Maya...

Don't really get this you see. How does feeling guilty about someone's loss mean you have lost every right to get back to that someone if he's your friend?
Arjun needed Saanjh to get back to his family. Ayaan in particular who had never played any role in his or maya's life. So if Saanjh played the part in reuniting arjun with his brother which was much needed, does that really mean she isn't guilty? If she wasn't, would she stay away for three years? Did she even try to meet him soon after the return? No right? Situations happened that way. Her so called bf supported her in supporting her friend in need. Even arjun himself walked to their place at night. Arjun needed a friend that's all. And she got back to being his friend, brought him back his much needed Ayaan. How does all these prove she's not guilty?

and why people find it weird that a toxic relationship needs an outlet somewhere. I don't really understand how it is so unacceptable that when you are choking in a marriage, your friend is there to help you. Not out of the marriage but only helping to provide someone, somewhere to vent out. Given in particular that you are not romantically inclined to your friend, I don't understand how one sided love can wreck a home if you are in your limits. I don't really understand things you see. How can people even say that yes arjun please remain loyal only to maya and caged in and shoo away anyone who's trying to help you be it your childhood best friend, or your brother.

Its said that Karma is a bitch.I find it to be true.Karma is the most neutral judge.Karma believes in justice. If you have done good then good will happen with you and if you have done wrong then you shall get similar results.None can escape the wheel of Karma.Neither the rich nor the powerful nor the ones with a terrible and horrific past.Ultimately Karma gets them all.

Indian dramas may have a lot of faults. But there is one thing which I love about them. And that is the bad folks are always punished at the end.

Karma essentially is a belief from ancient Indian religions/faith system in which an unseen system keeps a running total of one's deeds throughout multiple lifetimes through each stage of reincarnation. But I don't personally believe in that concept and believe in Kifarah. Since a total harvesting of the outcomes of one's deeds does not always happen in this life itself but this is why there is divine judgement after death with perfect justice. I look at Karma as fate; the rewards and punishments meted out to us as a result of our actions but that's something we may or may not necessarily face in this life itself. (I only discussed this part for information sake and to put across my views on it)

The point in this case remains the same, justice being done to those who deserve it and punishment meted out to those who deserve it, again. 😃
