@Husna,these were your points only which I agreed with.I mean the points made by all of you.

Yup I am a law student.BTW how did you know??😲

Anybody watched the movie Primal fear? Richard Gere played the lawyer and Edward Norton played his client who is accused of a brutal murder. Their attorney client relation in that movie is something to watch for and then there is a big twist how Edward's character totally plays his lawyer. That scene still gives me the creeps, Edward's transformation was so bone chilling and richard's character Martin realizing that he has been played. Tooo good. The attorney client convo reminded me of these 2characters.

Pen gone mad 😆 that's one hell of a punishment Wala essay

Woh apna sa I feel is a show from vamp ka POV. Like ridhi is not psychologically driven to do anything, she's just bad person who destroy people. If there's a revenge angle then maybe there is something but for now it's just a vamp ka POV, imagine kasauti Zindagi ki from komolikas pov. By that logic every villain is mentally ill but nope some people are just bad. Also ridhi will never do self harming like Maya does, or even drug others. Yet.

When I say ridhi I mean her character. Btw wasn't this show supposed to be based on stem mom what Happened to that??

Guys I don't know whether I should be mentioning this over here or not but there is another show named Woh Apna Sa on Zee TV which stars Sudeep Sahir,Ridhi Dogra and Disha Parmar.According to one of my friends,it's from the same PH as Beyhadh.

In that show,Ridhi's character Nisha is not a typical vamp.Infact her character is more like Amy Dunne than Maya. She is a relentless psycho. But unlike Maya,Nisha does not carry the baggage of a terrible past which makes her closer to Amy.A couple of days ago,Ridhi herself confirmed on Twitter that Nisha's character is on the lines of Amy.
But Woh Apna Sa is not as psychologically complex like Beyhadh.

I watched couple of scenes of that show here and there. Couldn't decide if I should a) appreciate the effort of the makers to show a character who's a psychopath unabashedly b) switch the channel because she scared me. (Riddhi's doing a good job with her character as well)

I get what you're saying. Having said that, I don't really think and I'm not sure if Maya anticipated that Ayaan would suggestively threaten her or engage in physical assault. She definitely seemed like she knew Ayaan would do something reckless and give her ample of scope and opportunities to trap him if she shows up at their home. And he did exactly that. This particular situation (as opposed to the others) seemed more of a kind where she used the situation to her advantage and not anticipate everything from the word go.

My theory is she knew Atan is coming for Arjun. She knew Ayan will lose his edge if he see's Arjun in bondage or locked or whatever. She knew he won't leave without Arjun at any cost. So yeah lock the door pick up the keys hold it in your hands or in your dress, you know Ayan is going to physically attack her for the keys. You don't have to be a Maya to anticipate this from Ayan. She knows Ayan will never attack her sexually in a million years. She knows she is safe and Ayan only wants the key. And the rest is all the illusion she created out of the situation. Ayan willingly walked into the trap. And the guilt trip she takes Arjun through, brilliant isn't it. It is your nafrat that made your brother do it. Now the poor guy has to deal with the guilt of ruining his brothers life and the fact that he caused a rape of his own wife. Arjun trapped from all sides.

I mean she'll be I guess at the end.
Or if this follows GG she won't. (I'll suicide if that happens)
Though we know she's wrong, she isn't punished.

Woah I'm repeating same words again and again but yes the fact is she's not punished. And it's so disgusting that she's not punished. Because she's not punished is a punishment to me and why am I being punished only for watching a show? I don't deserve punishment maya does but she isn't punished I'm.

Wait what!!!?

This cracked me up. 🤣 If she does not end up paying for her wrong deeds (like Amy), we'll all go and jump off a cliff. *I am just kidding* 😆

Maya has to be punished one day. Some people argue that the concept of good prevailing over evil is cliched and unrealistic. But I don't think so.Afterall there is something known as Karma.Every one must face the consequences of their actions sooner or later.
Its said that Karma is a bitch.I find it to be true.Karma is the most neutral judge.Karma believes in justice. If you have done good then good will happen with you and if you have done wrong then you shall get similar results.None can escape the wheel of Karma.Neither the rich nor the powerful nor the ones with a terrible and horrific past.Ultimately Karma gets them all.

Indian dramas may have a lot of faults. But there is one thing which I love about them. And that is the bad folks are always punished at the end.

Do you follow the All Blacks Andro? 😊

I haven't watched Woh Apna Sa, but Riddhi's character was said to be "grey" at the beginning, but in some later interview, she mentioned it was "negative".

Is her brother's (Akshay) characterisation in Waaris grey or negative?

Do you think Ayan will kill himself?

Pretty sure simmy will leave him. As of now Vandana is trusting him but if Arjun don't trust him then it will be a huge deal for Ayan. His brother is like everything for him. Arjun and Ayan's love for each other is one of the best things in this show.
