This must be very stressful . Does common man has that kind of money ? We don't keep any cash in home so cannot relate this issue .

Mothers is doing better . Baby is growing and big brother is excellent . It's lots of work for me .

You asked me one question about Raj's name .
Leena loves short old names . It was her desicion and we all loved it . It's very masculine name she does not want anyone calling him Raju . And I agree .

He is fair baby with blue eyes and very handsome like his dad .Leena does not like Raj Kappor so it's out of question. .she loves the way it sounds and goes so well with jay . Jay Raj is perfect and goes well with dad's name to .

Naming baby is one of the hardest thing to do . In India parents have some time but here they have to give name to hospital that day to receive birth certificate. Baby so and so does not count .

We keep cash at home to pay for groceries, milk, salaries to domestic help, and so on. Many essential purchases (sometimes medicines that are delivered home) are in cash. My family does not have to bother with auto and taxi fares, but there are others for whom this has become an issue. Many daily wage earners suddenly have no income.

The common man (which basically refers to the lower middle and poor class), is the most hit. Our building watchman, dhobi and our domestic help receive their salaries in 500 and 1000 denominations. They could not be paid and they did not have enough 100s to meet their needs, More than anything, it was just too sudden. The announcement came at 8 PM and midnight onwards, the currency was defunct.

Anyway, the not-so-good impact of it is there for all to see. Let's wait and watch if any good comes of it. From the stories I have seen and heard, I am not tooo hopeful.

Fair and blue eyes sounds EXACTLY like Raj Kapoor, unfortunately. I also don't like him much, but he was good looking.

Lots of work for you, I'm sure. I hope you have taken it off from work for a few days.

Gaayab. You and me to keep each other company.

For some strange reason, ever since I have joined this new job and have begun working on my own business, I have become 'detached'. In the sense of, if something happens, good. If it does not, good. If Saumya or Pari walk out like Dia did, okay. If they come round sometime, then too okay.

What I mean is, I think I am too spaced out to feel happiness or sadness about anything. Hope its only a phase...I keep wondering what happened for me to become this way.

Signing out now. Watched a couple of episodes of ZGH and must say I like Kashaf. She's a bit too bitter, but that's natural in her situation. I sure like the lady playing her!

What's the song and dance about Fawad, really?? He's a decent actor, but I don't much get the euphoria around him.
