one can exchange with bank up to Dec 31...and u can deposit d money in bank as well...only exchange limit is up to 4000 per day...no limits for deposits I guess..may be jwellers are accepting

In news they are only showing how ppl are suffering due to this ...specially one who are travelling...they land in other place next morning...and they got only 500/1000 rupees...wat would they do ...and bank is also closed...and if they don ve their card also...that's all...ppl today hardly come forward to help others

Situation is worse in hospitals too...d one who got wedding ...and shortage of 100 and 50 rs notes ...hope situation comes to normal again ...and this Bigbasket sending mes don pay us with 500/1000 from today onwards...

Maa was happy when one of the shopkeepers accepted the 1000Rs note she had and gave her the return in 100Rs. We have known Uncle and her son for a long time and he knew she was traveling
My bua said no one is ready to part with their 100, 50, 20s,10s change..everyone is waiting for the bank to open tomorrow

Sandy she only got help because we have known the shopkeeper for a very long time. Trust me is if she was in a different city trying to get water she won;t get it as the shopkeeper would tell her
