Government should ve taken some step ...they are poems /works states that ...if we connect all d rivers from Kashmir to kanyakumari ...there won be any drought /water shortage/flood in India...we are soo much focussed on industries than agricultural /about farmers :'( sad ...

unfortunately the focus is on industries as they work on capitalist structure. Agriculture fails in that area and thus the greed of people to make more money makes them exclude the other options

As far as combining all the water resources go - it sounds like a great plan but unfortunately the ones in power especially state governments will create hindrances by bringing up unnecessary issues and topics

I mean look at the Cauvery issue- even after SC has ordered the state to release the water the state is refusing to do so

I understand that the state itself might be facing some water shortage but is it so much that they cannot even spare a little to the neighbouring farmers whose entire livelihood is at stake
