Its CONFIRMED: Siddharth Nigam to play a cameo in Sony's Peshwa Bajirao!

The child actor has been roped in to play the esteemed role of Chhatrapati Shivaji in Sony's Peshwa Bajirao.

After managing a casting coup of sorts, Sony TV's Peshwa Bajirao is back in the news again, this time for having roped in actor Siddharth Nigam for a pivotal role. Siddharth has been finalized by the makers to play the role of Shivaji Maharaj.

Siddharth is well known for the portrayal of Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. He carried the colors show on his shoulders well for over a majority of the duration of the show. A source close to the showhas confirmed Siddharth's inclusion in the show and also revealed that Siddharth's character will be a cameo.

Peshwa Bajirao is one of Sony's ambitious projects and is produced by Sphere Origins.

The makers have already roped in a host of high profile names which include Manish Wadhwa, Nawab Shah, Anuja Sathe, Pallavi Joshi among others. Mukesh Khanna too was to be a part of the show but he quit over creative differences.

According to various other reports, child actor Ayaan Zubair too has been roped in for the show.

We tried reaching Siddharth but could not get through.
