@Minoch: What you said is right but I hope you don't mean that Sid is misgyonist. Because he never was. Yes he did all those shitty things to Riddhima and I in fact we all hated him for that but it was Riddhima who compelled him to do so. From the start she was rude to him without any of his fault, slapped him so many times, insulted him in front of public several times, even got him arrested and beaten up by police twice. Under such situation any guy would have gone nuts and did something worse than what Sid did. And this doesn't mean I'm defending his actions, NO.I toh hated it. But it was just a counter reaction of what Riddhima did to him. Extreme reaction which was not good. He felt guilty of doing all those things , apologized and even made the decision to quit Sanjeevani forever. This is what I liked about him. He realized his mistake. And after knowing Riddhima/Armaan's truth he decided to help her, take her back to Armaan, got wounded in that, saved her from death zillion times. He got redeemed in that. But saying he was disrespectful to women is wrong because it was the same Sid who saved Tammana from that creepy truck driver if you saw that episode.

And yes agree with your bits about Armaan, he was never like Sid. That's why I said I liked his transition from a brat to a mature guy. That seemed realistic. No one's comparing both.

So there were talks about DMG 3? Didn't knew that. And which Karan said that? Wahi or Grover? Finite series would have been done also. They just needed a good story.

Yes, that thing about the photos was intense, but the number of times Riddhima slapped or insulted Armaan in public was way more than what she did with Sid. And Armaan was also arrested because of Riddhima's testimony.

A couple of things that Sid were way more extreme than Armaan but they were kind of similar characters of you remove those things from the equation. I know for a fact that Armaan wouldn't ever have done something like the photo thing which Sid did. He's so much better than that.

But they were both arrogant and thought the world of themselves. They loved to torment Riddhima and they never thought they'd fall for her. They both thought that Riddhima was an uptight bitch. Even some if the freaking situations were the same. Like after the basketball match when Sid said 'Main kachre ko muh nahi lagata.' Armaan had said something similar to her one time.

Of course they weren't exactly the same but their characters had a ton of similarities. And Armaan was way better than Sid in those days. But, yeah, similar personality.

People would be thinking of us being lunatics but this is the craze of DMG that after 6 years of its closing we have pretty good topic to discuss on it. Like it started 6 days ago.
