Ovde kazu da je Vrhovni sud prihvatio zahtev Pratyushinih roditelja protiv dozvole da rrs ostane na slobodi uz uplatu odredjenog iznosa kaucije koje mu je odobrio Visoki sud u Mombaju. Vrhovni sud je spreman da saslusa prituzbu Pratsinih roditelja protiv tog resenja.

Prema misljenju Pratsinih roditelja, njena smrt nije nastupila zato sto je ona izvrsila samoubistvo, vec je ubijena od strane rrs i njegovog prijatelja. Stoga bi resenje kojim se dozvoljava da on bude na slobodi trebalo da bude ponisteno, kako on ne bi mogao da unisti dokaze koji su preostali i kako bi mu se moglo suditi.

Oni su trazili da se ponisti odluka da rrs moze da bude na slobodi nakon placanja kaucije, jer smatraju da se Prats nije sama ubila, vec da je ubijena, jer je njeno telo bilo prekriveno mnogim modricama.
