Mumbai: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's blockbuster Bajirao Mastani has struck gold at the National Awards with 7 wins in various categories. To celebrate this big win, the director organised a bash at a popular restaurant in Bandra on Monday evening.

At the party he told media, "This is my first National Award as a director. It is really very special to me. My mother always prayed that I should get one and here I get it. Her prayers are answered." He also added. "People from unknown numbers kept calling me I just picked up one such call and they asked me to give a reaction on winning the National award. Then my mother just screamed. Her happiness means a lot to me."

Although Shah Rukh locked horns with Bhansali at the box-office last December by releasing his film Dilwale, there is clearly no bad blood between the two.

Shah Rukh Khan made his presence felt at the success bash. An insider revealed that Shah Rukh was the life of the party and all eyes were on him when he reached the venue. A guest told us, " SRK got SLB on the dance floor and made him dance. The actor burned the dance floor as he was seen shaking a leg on his popular dance numbers such as Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein, Chammak Challo to name a few. Every time the DJ changed the song, there was a huge roar from the crowd."

Shah Rukh is gearing up for his next big release 'Fan'.
