Those who want to deactivate twitter from cell phone.

Go to google chrome browser settings.

Choose " request to desktop site" option.

Open twitter in google.

Go to acc settings.

At bottom you will find deactivate option.

you can get the desktop version in your mobile.

You can also select the request desktop site from the menu option by ticking it, it's the 10th option (But sometimes CHROME has some bug and doesn't respond to the request and keeps on showing the mobile version instead).


Here are the steps ---->

1. Go to CHROME and open TWITTER.
2. BY default, it will open the mobile version of the site.
3. Log in to your account.
4. After logging in, go to the url and delete the "mobile." part from the url and click enter.
5. It will give you the desktop version of TWITTER.

Now the main part ---->

1. GO TO THE PROFILE PICTURE and click on it {it is the small profile picture icon (if you don't have a profile picture, it will be an icon with an egg in the middle} on the top right hand, your right, corner (Next to the blue tweet icon).
2. A menu will drop down and select "settings".
3. By default, it will open the "Account" settings.
4. You can see the "Deactivate My Account" option at the bottom of the account settings. Click it.
5. In the next screen click on the blue "Deactivate @yourusername" icon and it will ask for your password. Enter your account password to deactivate your account.


P.S. After deactivating your account, you will have 30 days to reactivate it or your all data will be permanently deleted.
