Where does one go from the bottom of the well, when the walls are slick and it's all pitch dark?

Who does one ask when one dragged their self into this pitiless prison without a plan out?

How can one hope to reach the moon peering in, for sheer hope will not miraculously pull them out?

Without a plan, without help and without the knowledge to believe the impossible all wishes remain out of touch with the wishers lying at the bottom of their wishing well.

What is it about you that they can't get enough of?

You're flawed and yet no one sees that except me?

Is it my eyes? Is it me? Is it something I need to change?

How about myself? I ought to change myself, I agree.

Me hasn't been working for a while as you can see.

But I don't want to be you, I don't want to be you at all.

So I'm stuck in this never ending cycle, loathing and wondering

Why is it everything is so much greener with you?
