I don't hate Jab tak hai jaan and I like Katrina.But it took long time to enjoy the movie.

When I first watched it I didn't enjoy it at all.Then for a long time I never attempted to watch it.Then one random day I watched scenes of the film and after watching it I felt like watching the movie then I watched it.After that when I again watched it then I started liking it and I have watched the movie more than probably 20 times.And even now I watch scenes of Katrina and Anushka when I feel like.

I dont hate JTHJ... the first part was good, but after he goes back to London for Akiras interview thats when the story kinda starts to derail. I really didnt like the memory loss part. That kinda ruined the movie for me. It just made the movie way to cheesy and 90ish era type.
plus the editing was bad, there were way too many unnecessary scenes and it was long. i have a short attention span for movies... anything longer then 2 hours is too much for me.
If it wasnt for the memory loss drama it wouldve been one of my faves.

JTHJ is one of my favorite movies when it comes to Shahrukh's performances! I thought he was beyond brilliant in it. As a movie though I think it could have been way better. The script could have definitely been better. I frankly had no issues when it comes to the performances of the leads. A lot of people didn't care for Katrina's performance but I felt she did justice to her role or at least I liked it. Could it have been better? Sure. But I don't think it was as bad as many make it out to be. Although I will say she was far better in ZNMD. I watched the movie twice when it released and I don't think I would have watched it even once if Shahrukh weren't in it. So despite the weak script, it was Shahrukh's performance in both halves that keeps you hooked. The church scene, the proposal scene at the end, the one where Meera meets Samar in the hospital and pretty much all scenes between Akira and Samar are scenes I still go back to. So I think there's a lot in the movie that works for me at least. Not to mention I love music of the movie too.
