ranveer has got a kick start with bajirao mastani, if not more 70% of the credit has gone to him and slb, 30% to the rest of the cast and his scenes were maximum..he had competition with visual delight in slb style but both won with flying colors...there is not doubt his biggest hits have been with deepika but now he needs 2 to 3 hits in a row to establish his superstardom for good, i think he will play safe and do minimal films, make the audience starve and then make it a big hit..he was never on a signing spree even after the hit BBB! i know he will make it!

I agree. As gorgeous as they are together, DP's presence (and their relationship status) tends to overshadow Veer at times professionally. Working with different costars can help him get out of that funk

i agree if you ranveer carrer graph he has been very choosy and very thoughtful one 👏
sometime i feel that he is like Aamir who give a lot input while shooting, he is very intelligent , smart and hardworking.

but yes i have fingers crossed so that he gets a hit without deepika, though i do not know why people have forgotten BBB where he was hero and gave a hit 😆
and BM ran because ranveer was in more frames 😳 and carried a film, one false note BM would have fallen flat.

^IKR? And I sometimes feel that people credit Anu for BBB's success although Ranveer had an equal role and made more impact IMO. And that was Ranveer's first film. Also Anu benefitted more from the success of the film as compared to Ranveer. People kind of overlook that and say Ranveer is yet to give a hit w/o Deeps. What the f**k?

Even DDD wasn't a failure. Yes it underperformed but who walked away with the most amount of unanimous praise? RS and PC.

And we all know the story of Lootera. That film is a success in my eyes. It doesn't matter what others say/ think. PERIOD.
