There was an interview I saw recently, where a reporter asked when was the first time Ranveer noticed DP and when did DP notice Ranveer.

(paraphrasing...obviously)
Ranveer was like 'I saw her at an award show, and I was like woww. And then I saw her here and there and then finally when SLB made us meet'
DP was like...'I didn't really know who he was until we met up with SLB' 😆

Safe to say, she really wasn't really looking for love but rather Ranveer literally bounced into her life 😆

I secretly wish BBB was done by deepika and ranveer together 😆 They only did period films together but it would've been FUN seeing them in BBB then ram leela than BM...I'm selfish😆

btw Abhi calling Ranveer-Deepika's relationship as friends with benefits was the most low grade comment anybody can make🤢 I used to like abhi for his personality but when I saw on KWK saying dp-rs relationship as friends with benefits was so cheap and I don't like abhi the person anymore. I thought he had class but I guess not. Hopefully rs-dp get married and abhi can go to hell🤣

Sorry for the double posting spam but I have follow ranveer and deepika's journey even before ram leela.

Ranveer was super excited of kareena being the lead actress. When he got the news that Kareena was not longer the lead actress and it was deepika. He seemed sad and upset it was during 2012. But of course after ram leela released, he changed he's mind and said deepika is his favorite. But I remember during 2012, there was an interview on how he was disappointed that kareena was not longer part of the movie.

And he made like snide remarks when he was asked about cocktail's performance of deepika and he said "yeah it took her decades to show people her acting." Like it was a bitter comment coming from him.

But yeah of course things changed. But I still have that interview of him stuck in my mind even though it was 2012 but I know after they started shooting for ram leela, he changed he's mind about her and he's fallen in love with her

interesting talk and i am trying to catch all the comments! btw i was never interested in deepveer until lately after the release of BM, i became ranveer's huge fan and started liking his pairing with deepika and its lately happened that i am catching up on all old interviews and noticed they had more passion and chemistry during RL days as compared to BM days promotions but the same kind of chemistry DP showed with ranbir during tamasha promotions and i was liking deepika ranbir pairing more than ranveer deepika, only after watching ranveer's mind blowing act in BM i have become a die hard fan of his and want his happiness if it is with deepika only..and that is my long story short😉..but do correct me if i am wrong as i have not followed this pair from the beginning😛

@bold - What?? He may have been disappointed that Kareena backed out, but he has always said he recommended Deepika to SLB. He also said he had been a fan of DP since before Cocktail, specifically since Lafangey Parindey. I have followed them since before RL and I don't remember Ranveer ever being disappointed with Deepika's casting.

Where did you see him as sad or upset?? Which interview was this?😕
