So what if Ben doesn't get any roles, and has not appeared on screen for such a long time... but he has to look for work, and he really needs all my support and help. Tumhe kyaa lagtaa hai - tumhara ghar-ka-kaam-kaaj karney ke baad, he also has the time to go for auditions?

why do u think he is out of work these days huh? ...it's all because of Moi 😳...agar tumhare pass hota toh he would have worked again par kya karu..uska acting mein mann hi nahi lagg raha hai abb😳...tabse jabse meri nazar uspe padi ...tabse yeh durghatna ghati

Actually, for what it is worth, Tani was a more sincere person than Gauahar jaan. Both Kushal and Kohli were unworthy of these women; but Tani certainly appeared to be more committed to Kohli than...
For that reason, I'd admire Tani. If only Salman Khan hadn't been so biased in her favour during BB, I'd even have favoured her for the win.

i definitely liked Tani more than gauhar but hated one character of her as described by the photo

Beyond all the mock outrage, I wonder why Indians are not taking to photography or other art forms to counter this narrative.
We have a wealth of spirituality - not just surrounding the sadhus and temple architecture, but also in now-secular historical monuments - I was watching PK last weekend, and I saw how they have used the baoli in that movie, and how Delhi was so stunningly shown...
We have food - why can't we have tastefully made videos of jalebis being fried in a street corner, or roomali rotis, or whatever... The BA ad is such a glowing example of this...
We have a wealth of wildlife, of mystical landscapes, of traditions (beyond the holi, janmashtami routine), and if it bothers the keyboard warriors so much that they are being stereotyped, why don't they do some proactively to correct that stereotype.

For what it is worth, I found the character of Rajesh Koothrapalli (Big Bang Theory), or the other numerous characters in "Outsourced" to be let-downs, but nobody seemed to even notice how Indians were caricatured then...

+1

For all the hackneyed portrayals over the years with the Taj Mahal, Qutub, Mumbai, slums, temples etc...there are the other monuments, architectures, stunning landscapes (including the ones in North-East...a region sadly overlooked...), glorious Indian food etc. It is frustrating to see the same old, same old.

@bold: Rajesh Koothrapalli is still caricatured in TBBT...and I have always found it a tad annoying...but apparently the keyboard warriors have no problem with that as long as an Indian character is given prime space in an outrageously successful American sitcom.😊

This, in spite of the fact that I carry myself with way too much class when I am flying (because I have this fantasy that I might be seated next to a really nice guy, and I want to be suitably ready for that)... Of course, I'm flying on my own expense and I fly economy, and I am almost always seated next to the Punjabi Sikh aunties, who are all British citizens, but can't speak a work of English, or reasonably acceptable Hindi. 😆

@bold: Boy...you ARE a die-hard romantic, eh...?😆 Adorable! smiley

Hope one of these days your fantasy comes alive!

This ad has however won a lot of praise on social media. And I can't quote understand why that is the case, since it is so patently false. In most cases, the flight attendants are just doing their jobs - and while making small talk etc. is something they all do with reasonable willingness, I don't think that most of them have been enchanted by Indian travelers.
I was once chatting with a really cute flight steward on a middle-eastern airline (Emirates, perhaps) - and he was telling me that the route to Delhi is his least favourite. "The passengers don't obey the crew at all," he complained. "As soon as the air craft hits the ground, you will hear the clicks of the seat belts, and the sound of phones being turned on", he told me me. And actually, that is exactly what happened.

@Incredibly India: The irony is that I guess- BA will run this ad in India. They'll not run it in the UK... wahaan chalaatey toh Indian tourism ko bhi thodaa laabh hotaa...

Yeh dekho...this will throw a little light on why the BA ad has found favor with Indians and the Coldplay one..not so much. Don't agree with most of this...utter rubbish...but considering an ad agency guy is writing this, he makes the case for brand India only.

@bold: Yes, THAT is exactly how our countrymen behave. When we fly the routes in SE Asia or even US, I have never seen this cloying and urgent need to get out of their seats even before the aircraft has come to a standstill! And the phones are switched on as soon as the wheels hit the tarmac. It happens only on the routes to India. 😆
