Even SHQ had a kiss much before KY2 came into the picture but KY2 and MaNan made kissing look like some art which (in my opinion) even the hottest couples of Bollywood couldn't do!

The vivacious Karan Kundra who is all set to make a comeback into the fiction space with Balaji Telefilms 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum' (&TV) talks about his new project and the x-factors of the show in an exclusive conversation with Tellybuzz!

Karan, please elaborate on the character that you play on this show.

This is a new age love story and I play a rockstar. My character- Rahul, is quite similar to me, as I am very comfortable facing the camera, attending events to promote my activities and appearing on-screen; but as soon I am off-work, I like being at home, spending time with my family and dining with them.

In this story, Rahul too has similar characteristics.

What inclined you to take up this show?

The kind of concept 'Yeh Kahan Aagaye Hum' boasts of , I feel it just cannot get bigger than this on the television medium. This is a new age love story with which, Ekta Kapoor would be associating with a new channel. what more could I ask for!

Characters like rockstars' are mostly seen getting more involved into kitchen politics on television. Your viewpoint?

Well, that is not the case with this show. Balaji Telefilms has a team of young creatives and Ekta, herself has worked very hard to get the look and feel of the show bang on! We have recorded 6 tracks for the show and I went through 7 look tests before shooting. The promo too is shot very nicely. Television has a lot of constraints and despite that, I feel we have done a very good job.

This is a story about how a rockstar falls in love with a girl of a traditional mindset. There is no magic, co-incidences or destiny involved here.

Have you recorded songs for this show?

(Laughs) I wanted to sing but I do not want the audiences to switch off the television sets!

A parting message...

I have not been active in the fictional space on television from a long time but every time I have taken up a show, the viewers have welcomed me with open arms and hence, I feel truly blessed.
