Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has put a lid on rumours about actress Priyanka Chopranot starring in "Don 3", saying the film's team has no intention of changing the cast.

So, one can expect Bollywood's 'Badshah' Shah Rukh Khan to return to the villainous streak in the next instalment of the film.

Sidhwani added that the script of the third instalment of Farhan Akhtar's hit franchise was being developed.

"Much speculation on #Don3 and it's (about) casting. No thoughts of changing its casting... Working towards developing the script. Will keep you posted. Love," Sidhwani tweeted.

Shah Rukh stepped into the shoes of Big B in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's "Don" in 2006, which was followed by its sequel "Don 2", which was equally appreciated and registered good business.

Priyanka plays a pivotal role in the film series. The franchise also stars Boman Irani.

Written and directed by Farhan, the franchise is co-produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment and Farhan and Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

In their heyday, Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand were peers as well as rivals. Now Ranbir, scion of the Kapoor clan, is paying homage to Dev saab in his own sweet manner. For his next film Tamasha, he has gone ahead and done an almost perfect impersonation of the late evergreen actor.

"This is for the song Matargashti," confirms our source, "A fun number which is basically a Ranbir song all the way with Deepika accompanying him, it has Ranbir stepping into Dev saab's shoes (or rather cap) for a good part. His body language, facial expressions and mannerisms are truly in line with that of the legendary romantic hero and his jovial persona has also been kept intact."

It didn't just end here. The A.R. Rahman composed song even has lyrics by Irshad Kamil throwing more than just subtle hints around Dev Anand's inspirations. So the words 'Dil Ka Bhanwar' have been borrowed from the title song of Dev Anand's classic 'Tere Ghar Ke Saamne' while his 'Prem Pujari' is being referred to as well.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala was so happy with the Mohit Chauhan sung song that he went ahead with a no-bar approach when it came to the presentation and grandeur, making it one of the biggest songs on play today.

When contacted, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was happy to talk about the homage. He says, "The great personalities from cinema are a part of our upbringing and influence is just like a close friend or family member. We admire them, emulate them and they spring out from within us when we are happy like in Matargashti."

Well, now here's looking forward to all the happiness which is expected to be on play with 'Tamasha'.

Tamasha is an upcoming romantic film directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in a lead roles and is all set to release on 27th November.
