Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma's Bollywood debut film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" has managed to enthrall the viewers. The Abbas-Mustan directorial collected a whopping Rs. 10.15 crore on its first day.

"Kapil's mass hysteria has certainly created soaring high numbers at the box office. It is a boost for an actor who makes his onscreen debut," said the spokesperson of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", which released on Friday on Eid.

The romantic comedy also stars Arbaaz Khan, Elli Evram, Supriya Pathak, Varun Sharma, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi and Sai Lokur.

With positive word of mouth publicity and no big release alongside, the collection of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" is expected to increase over the weekend.

Meanwhile, many Bollywood stars including John Abraham, Shilpa Shetty and Genelia Deshmukh have congratulated Kapil over the film's success on Twitter.

Actor Ranveer Singh says he gave his best to justify the role of Peshwa Bajirao in his upcoming film Bajirao Mastani.

"He (Bajirao) was a great man. The deeper I get into it the more I realise what a great man he was. It is a great honour to be selected to play this character," said Ranveer. "I did my best to justify what I was given to play. He was a true Maratha. It has been an intense experience for me," he said.

According to Ranveer, Bajirao Mastani is one of his few films which required hardcore preparation for the role. "I had to focus and try and create something distinct. It is not easy to do a period character and transport mentally to that time," he said. "No other film demanded this much of me. It is not a complaint... I am proud and happy to play this role which you get in a decade. I had got to do much for my craft," he added.

The Band Baaja Baarat actor thinks Deepika Padukone looks absolutely beautiful in the song 'Deewani Mastani'.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has created a 'Aaina Mahal' (glass palace) for the song. "Bhansali Sir has outdone himself. Sir had to create a Aaina Mahal of that scale and beauty to justify the beauty of his leading lady. That song is incredible... it will be one of the highlights of the film," the 30-year-old actor said.

'Gajanan' aarti song from Eros International and Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani was launched on Tuesday at the Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi Stadium. "Everybody finds a reason to party during Ganesh Visarjan (immersion). I love dancing in Visarjan processions... I have got down and danced in random Visarjans after becoming an actor."

Ranveer reveals ace choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant calls his style of dancing as "Visarjan". "It is one of my favourite dance forms of partying on street with loud music. People do strange steps. I am very excited and if I can't control I will jump and go and dance in one of the processions," he said.

Ranveer and Deepika were in Pune on Tuesday for the promotions of Bajirao Mastani. "It is amazing we kick started the promotions from Pune as it is appropriate. Bajirao's centre of empire is in Pune, his Mahal and his statue...," Ranveer said.

With a star cast like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sharma, Rohit Shetty's Dilwale' is sure going to be a grand one. And Varun has no doubts about that.

In an interaction with Filmfare, when Student of the Year' actor Varun was asked about his upcoming film Dilwale', this is what he had to say, "Dilwale is one film I'm not stressed about. I have zero stress. It has blockbuster written all over it."

Varun is also working with his brother Rohit in action-packed film Dishoom' and the actor says that he is in no mood to work on a hard hitting film like Badlapur' in near future. He told the film magazine, "I won't be doing anything like that any time soon. ABCD2 was a happy film. Dishoom is also a happy go lucky film. My brother's (Rohit Dhawan) film belongs to a different genre. Badlapur has put me on the map. I had always wanted to do dark movies. I enjoyed thrillers like the TV series Dexter and films like the American Psycho. So I've just done something I've always wanted to do. People here say they want to do dark films but dark ko haath bhi nahin lagate hum. If I do dark cinema again, it will have to be as stark as Badlapur or even more."

The actor is presently in Hyderabad shooting for Dilwale'.
