Had a super awesome day. Mum made vada pav for breakfast and then we went out for lunch. I went off to sleep after coming home thanks to EURO and the long match the previous night. Watched Wimbledon in the evening and skipped dinner as we were all too full.

Woke up early this morning to watch France v/s Iceland. France was just too overpowering in the first half itself by leading 4-0. I realised there is no way Iceland can compete so went back to sleep.

Please tell Ne thanks on my behalf.

Me first , nowadays I'm on time. Kahin meri hi nazar na lag jaaye mujhko...

I thought of calling you in evening, but forgot it. And when I remembered, it was quite late and I was out with phone having low battery. And then the phone switched off for want of power.

Honestly, he's the only character that stands out. Rest all are wash rinse repeat and totally boring.
Saw only one full episode, fri, I think, the cow dung throwing one. The settings are lavish, the actors are fairly good, there is a feel good factor about the show. They've also established lots of sub-plots. This one should do well for Gul.
But something seems to be missing. Body and mind is there, maybe the soul is missing. or maybe I've lost the appetite and patience for daily soaps.
But will read the WU and your/ Sage's post to know how Om shapes up. The actor playing Om has been perfectly cast. Nakul, somehow failed to impress as the typical M&B hero. Rudra, reminds me of Ayaan to the extent of making me sad. (VM, still missing you)
Surbhi C is good upto a point. But many times, overacts and overpouts. With time, she will get into the character, hope Gul has written the character well. Its good break for her.

OMG I feel the exact same, and trust me I'm very, very patient, and I know for a fact that I have not lost the appetite for daily soaps, but goodness the episodes started off okay then there were some great stuff and then it went downhill in a matter of seconds. There is this scene where Rudra, the youngest of the brothers got himself in trouble at a club, the entire thing after was so so poorly executed and not only did it lack soul, it lacked body and mind too. The only, only bearable bit was when Omkara told the other guy to not hit Rudra's face as he's a playboy and a player needs his face. And the rest was just pathetic.

Surbhi C yes, a lil overacting here and there, but so much better than the brother's club scene, nothing you can't handle, I especially love those one liners she gives out randomly (Hrithik Roshan toh kya yahan Harman Baweja bhi nah hai -or something like that)

You can imagine just how I'm not quite enjoying some part of it, so much so that I actually don't mind the evil aunt's scene... our very own Hasina Bi aka Sundheri (why is it that the roles she play has her name to mean pretty! hehe) but damn I hate hate characters such as this, and this woman Nishi Singh? is that her name? Man she plays them to perfection! Of course there's no one who can play villain as good as Alka Kaushal but the freaking annoyingly mental cruel role? Hasina is just the face for it.

Still...I'm going to keep watching for a bit more, coz well, patience is virtue BWAHAHAHAHA

And I mean. Omkara (he too has a lil room to improve, but dang he's definitely the better brother)

I just wrote a long as comment here. And I had a hash tag. When I clicked post...It didn't post. Coz there's an invalid word. Now my comment is gone.

It's about the latest episode and how there's a great scene and the episode was watchable and Omkara is just great and I think he's where the soul of the show lies in and no I'm not being biased.

But anyway my comment gone. it was so long. Almost like a post.

I'm just gonna sit at a corner and lament. It's not always you write some stuff that's really poetic and you're proud of. And it was mostly about Omkara. The guy I did not at all set out to like. Though even before seeing the poster I already know I'll have a thing for the painter/artist.

Farz, 🤗,

👍🏼, for your patience. Patience is no longer my virtue. Anyway, 4 lions needs one long running show to keep the money coming, so they need this one to click.

How can any PH churn out quality content 7 days a week, for years together. One channel jumps off the cliff and the rest follow. 😔

Keeping fingers crossed that their Web series will have some well defined characters and crisp writing. Looking forward to that.
