Not seen any serial today. Returned late, and now net giving major problems.

After watching Shehr-e-Zaat, which by the way I finished yesterday, provided episode 19 was the last, I am through with Pakistani serials. The serial for me was a major disappointment. Especially the last 5-6 episodes. Sorry pankhis.

Not because she went back, or he had an affair, not because of the story, but primarily because of the messages that are given out in such a strong no-argument brooked way. Same was the case with ZGH. The story was nice, but underlying messages put me off.

I wonder whether all their modern day serials are like these. Is it a pre-requisite to put religion in the forefront. Make it the super hero.

This of course is my personal opinion.

Ashoka - what is happening there?

Did Ashoka manage to prove himself as one of the sons' of Bindusara?

Saw the promo where Ashoka Dharma looking like a queen along with King Bindusara and it said Ashoka battle for throne will start soon.

Is it going to start anytime soon?

B.V ver 2.0 they have taken away the sugar coating and the message is being given as a bitter pill as it is.

Ver 1.0 - they made a blunder by showing a great friendship between Balak Var and Balika Vadhu.That is the reason why people still clamour to see them back together.They failed spectacularly there.🤢

If one actually takes away the sugar coating Balak Var 1.0 is not that different from Balak Var 2.0.

The only thing was in Ver 1.0 both the boy and girl are of same age so the friendship turning into a relationship driven by hormones with growing age didn't look bad.

Artee - I understand ur POV and another friend of mine too said something on similar lines about her overall assessment of the show..for her as well, religion is a very personal matter, and such kind of a subject would make for a great book but probably not appeal while it translates into visual medium..it looks like it is dictating terms..

the difference for me though, since I was recommending it strongly, is between religion and spirituality here..one doesnt have to blindly follow any rituals, just for the sake of it, and its not about preaching or advocating any religion..Im quite a strict follower of mine, which possibly is the most meticulous branch of Hinduism probably..so wouldnt advocate another..

but some teachings are common across all of them, which I thought the show did a good job with...endorse simple living high thinking, treat fellow living beings - humans (animals..). even the smallest of beings with compassion...and in the end, its about connecting to god, who is not just up there somewhere, but within all of us as much..which can only be found, once we are rid of all material aspects and useless obsessions..

Now Il only believe it, when it really happens in the show..spare me anymore dream sequences😳

Kya faltu lyrics hain🤪... kuch bhi bana dete hain log😵

But more than that i hate the 🤬honey singh songs...his songs practically presents girls as a commodity "to be used" by boys😵🤢

Kangu doesnt seem to be confident about Katti batti..she isnt happy with the promos or the buzz (which isnt that much)

I dont think the movie will be good anyway😆

I saw phantom and liked it surprisingly😛 not much for the acting - Saif is ok, Katty is terrible - and more so..coz this was actually not a flowerpot role..and she had a strong character to play..but as usual non existent acting skills...Zeeshan was the best, but direction is decent..end is emotional and heart tugging..for anyone who has experienced the horror of 26/11😭

& JDJ...(IMO) Karan was too entertaining with his "naino mein sapna" & "dafli wale" 🤣 why they always play girl songs <"radha teri chunari"> for even his impromptu dancing is still a mystery🤣🤣

hope either faisal <<bcoz he is an excellent dancer teamed with a super talented choreo⭐️>>/ or ...SI <<bcoz she is too sweet ❤️& also good with her acts...& in case they dont want a trained dancer to win the competition>> Wins the show😃

Modi must stop attending rallies..🤔 he needs to have other people who can do that job for him.. influence as much as him..

Delhi election was a major downer, I think BJP needs to revamp itself..and Modi needs to shed his CM days tactics..he is doing fine on international front..but nationally he needs to up his game..big time😕

SEZ - per my understanding of the drama, its not the religion that has been made the super hero , but the GOd.

The episodes from 9 - 19 per me are masterpieces , and the facts, questions and statements the protagonist makes after her realization are invaluable gems., the manner in which I have understood them.

and coming to religion, I do not mind watching few such dramas, with back drop of any religion., and desire same particularly from our Indian sub continent , where equal respect is given to all religions.

b'coz the underlying message is same thru' all religions., that if you believe in existence of God ( again from whatever little I understand ...and I do not wish to give him any names...as I myself do not worship God by a name )., then he is the only super power / hero whose love is worth possessing.

N/less., no issues if any one will jn deed have issues with the drama.
