Sasural Makkhi Ka will find more viewers than the shows which are hailed by this forum as great shows unfortunately.

So who should be blamed for that? Viewers tastes or the makers of the shows which contain supernatural elements, triangles and rectangles along with saas bahu nanad dramas with no content?

its a combination of all, I just feel everyone is at fault, from makers to viewers. Sadly, it also reflects the thought process of the majority contributing to the trps. The line of thought is extremely regressive, which isnt an encouraging sign from the socio-cultural development of Indians POV.

As far as the makers are concerned, for the likes of Rashmi Sharma, Gul Khan, I dont expect them to be concerned about the sensibility of the content, since they are here for money, not for social service. It is when the sensible makers/ CVs default, is when one feels bad..

Other day I came across an interview of Rangeela channel creative head.

According to her supernatural elements are appealing for the entertainment value they provide and the way they originate from folktales.She offers BV Ishq ka Rang safed Udaan and Taapki for people who don't care for SSK Nagin etc😛😆

If they want to offer different stuff for different kind of viewers then why not make shows for Niche audiences?

It is very rare to come across a show which is critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful.So why not accept that fact and make some which give creative satisfaction and some purely fro entertainment purpose? Why mess up a show like BV?

Coming to audience preferences - Even people who claim to be *discerning viewers* they prefer drama over content😛😉😆They'd rather watch drama in the lead's life rather than enjoy the achievements of the lead.

It all boils down to demand and supply theory.

Amma's margin has decreased considerably and she won with great difficulty. Vote share was just 0.2 or 0.3 difference between Amma's party and Karunanidhi's party.

This time there was no negative or positive wave in TN against either of the parties.

My maid told me that she took the money one party gave and voted for he other party😛😆

I guess Mamta is expected to come back.Bengal doesn't throw away parties like South Indians do😆
