We can have 2 parallel tracks going on...

Sex in the Jila & Dadi dadi ki adhuri prem kahani. I can bet that D & D's mature rooh-mance will be more racy, in depth, smart and sexy than their offsprings. This for sure will make more folks desperate to go back to BV.

Exactly we all loyal BV audience just want J to acknowledge his folly. To err is human. So why not make him accept it. I think Shakti has that vulnerability in him to portray that lost lover, dejected, miserable hubby and with a glass pour his heart out to Aji & acknowledging that Aji's smiles are brighter & beautiful without him. She was made for Shiv only but he was never made for Ganga. 😳

Tina, I felt that BV 2.0 in Jhalra had many more shades of A Thousand Splendid Suns than Piya Rangrezz.

As far as repentance is concerned, I think J already voiced his feelings out loud when he decided to help his no. 3. Something like "I have committed so many mistakes, by helping you I will be able to wash off some of them". And the scenes of his watching his no. 1 getting hitched to her no. 2 were classic. Said everything.
