Madhuri Dixit-Nene reveals she is taking break from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'

Recently, it was being said that Madhuri Dixit-Nene would not feature on the panel of judges for the forthcoming season of popular dance reality TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Now, the actress has expressed that she is taking a break from the show.

A statement read, "I have been on Jhalak for three years now and I am taking a break to focus on other projects. I will be back shortly with probably something even more exciting. I wish Jhalak the very best for a spectacular season". It is thought that the actress is working on something else with the same channel, Colors.

CEO of Colors, Raj Nayak, also divulged, "Madhuri has been the face of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa for years now and we will surely miss her presence and her expertise on the show and we are keen on continuing our relationship with her and our team is exploring a show that will suit her persona".

It is being said that dance enthusiast Shahid Kapoor will be replacing the actress on the show although this is yet to be confirmed.
