Ya i think its deewar (amitabh bacchan wali) story- maybe he is missing n not dead or something.

Didnt get his story though.

he worked in pharma company and was blamed and shamed for doing something wrong... either he committed suicide or is in jail (i think he's dead)... and Kabir actually reported on his side of the story (which is why Ananya admires him)... but I guess Kabir was in a small newspaper and hence that news didnt get any footage 😕

anyway... the reason i mentioned the connection is, her father was in pharma company, and Anurag is suffering from something... maybe he took untested drugs or adulterated drugs or something like that...

I am putting too much thought into it 😆

I watch another show on &TV called Begusarai... I got into it, because Tigmanshu Dhulia designed the first look of the show... and for me, its the Gangs of Wasseypur of TV...

the setting is rural Bihar, so you can imagine the distinction between men & woman... how women are treated etc etc. The show doesn't attempt to preach or change society. It shows it as it is. but even that show surprises me every few episodes when they show how even the 'oldies' knew how to respect women and how to be fair with them. and these aren't even nice people. the whole family is a bunch of crooks & killers 😛

and so far the best thing about the show is Shweta Tiwari... she's a dancer (and very very immoral)... but she is a true grey character. She is so freaking brilliant as a rural 'nachaniya' i cannot but admire her skills... even her character has been etched so brilliantly that you cannot love her but cannot hate her either.😳

Frankly speaking even my grandfather's generation I have not seen having regressive thoughts like they show in YHM. 🥱

N besides even Rural people r not Shallow, they have morals.

exactly... just because something is in an urban setting doesnt make it automatically modern 😕
