This Chat Club is for all those who are concerned about India bashing on India Forums and action to tackle the same.
More often than not, the issue of bashing, mocking, abusing, stereotyping, generalising, hate and prejudice towards India, Indians and anything Indian has come up on this website which is for users from India,based primarily on content from India, has Indians from around the world as its visitors and members, besides having members from other countries.
Though mods do take action and admin also promised action, still posts and threads of such nature continue to come up and often, not many, watch their words before generalising an entire country and populace of 1.2 Billion people or its specific regions. And often many such posts and threads go unabated without any action taken on them and without any warning or action on such members.
Therefore this thread is for those who have faced this issue or are concerned about this issue and care for action on the same.
Please note we are NOT against the website, its admin, development team and authorities behind it. We have nothing against other members or countries.
We only expect a basic decorum to be maintained whether a country, its laws, people, beliefs, culture etc are being discussed, criticised, questioned or debated. We only call for respect irrespective of how much one likes, dislikes, agrees or disagrees with a country, its people, members, laws, beliefs or things showed in content produced from that country - which is INDIA here.
The purpose of this CC is to share such experiences, experiences of progress in action and solutions taken on the same.
Anyone who is genuinely concerned for the cause can join here.
*Please don't assume we don't understand difference between general comments and bashing. We are only against bashing. Not against genuine, healthy, criticism*
