Btw one thing is Fawad's hype started only after ZGH. Even when ZGH started airing or when shot for Khoobsurat there was zero hype about him. So his hype wasnt PR created like the hype of some other stars but genuine for a change.

You summed everything very well Munira. Fawad was hyped and he lived up to it. Fawad is new to BW but otherwise he has a good and very diverse body of work. And yes he is a complete package. Though some of his similar age group contemporaries think he just was at the right time at the right place and Indians are only obsessed with any man with a Pakistani citizenship. Going by some of the condescending remarks he gets.

I have seen those comments dismissing him as one of KSG/BS league. I am myself a supporter of TV actors. Maybe if they got to work in as good shows as some of the Pakistani shows even they could have proved their talent. But unfortunately Indian TV industry is the worst place for someone wanting to show their talent. Its only a place for actors to make money and keep their homes running just like all of us do. Creativity is nil from every person involved. And due to that Pakistani actors have won over Indian TV actors.

My fave TV actor was Mishal Raheja who used to be in Laagi Tuhjse Lagan on Colors. He was really good in it and very popular those times. But he cant lobby I think for work in BW. And doesnt need to do shit on TV as he is very wealthy. So he's disappeared. Does some lame cameos here and there.

Mishal would have made a great BW hero...was a good actor, looks, height everything. But ofcourse he didnt have hype on IF like BS or KSG. But he used to be pretty popular. But people like him cant get breaks in BW as they are not connected.

True! People keep asking why give films to Pakistanis and not Indians. My question is why not? Atleast the Pakistani is talented, goodlooking, charismatic. Otherwise we are stuck with terrible folks like Arjun Kapoor who forget acting...arent even eye candy.

The other good TV actor I liked was Mohit Raina. He was perfect as Lord Shiva. He is good looking and has a good height. Farah wanted to cast him in HNY but it didnt work out due to his TV commitments. Even if some BW director wants to cast them they arent able to take up BW roles due to their contracts.
