On the discussion of Fawad's acting in Dastaan I agree...in some scenes he overacts. Here is my post from the ZGH thread on Zindagi forum:

Why is he so dramatic when he meets his mom? All his running and hugging shouting of 'Amma'?😆

Even in yesterday's episode he was all dramatic with his 'Meri naukri lag gayi'. He is fine in all other scenes.

Few days back I remember Dibaker Bannerjee had said that when people imagine the early 1900s they tend to picturize things in a dramatic manner. Thats because of the old films of that time which had actors act in that manner, The reason was they used to use mikes to capture the dialouges so that had to strain and shout to get themselves heard. Dastaan suffers from this problem. It was bad in the very first episode..but has been ok after Suraiyya's wedding most of the time.

Anyways Sundas if we indulge in name calling or disrespecting opinions or try to pull down an actor's work there would be no difference between them and us. Better avoid it. Our respective favorites are doing well...no need to pull another actor down or put down others achievements to make our favorite actor/actress look good.

i have been a huge fan of pakistani shows from way long but did not watch the recent ones except for ZGH which was highly recommended by a friend and once i started watching i could not take my eyes off from the lead pair! what beautiful chemistry! in fact each and every character is so beautifully etched! the thing that i liked the most is that none of the characters are black or white they are gray and very human, the characters which you and i come across in our day today lives!
