Well thats not completely true ... look at lauren, she is now doing bw movies and going to judge JDJ ... she didnt win, but she came into limelight through this reality show only ... if people are smart and talented enough to use that 2 min of fame, then they do good ...atleast better than what they were doing before that reality show ...

We cant say DD and GC got nothing ... Theres no dart of offers for DD and GC ... GC is interested in BW, but if he decides to do TV, he will be having lots of offers ...

Dd and Gc hadnt had done Jdj then also they have gotten offers.they r quite popular frm their shows only.

abt lauren yes Jdj helped but fr indian actors not that much

Nope! Popularity and being in limelight are two different things ... Barun's popularity didnt managed to get him any big banner offer ...BUT Gautam Gulati being in a limelight did managed to get a big banner offer for him ...not talking about what kind of role he was offered ...the important thing is, he IS been noticed by these people ...and now according to his talent and personality, he is getting offers

Popularity means strong fanbase ...and all fans can manage to get you is, make you win some pole, make u win awards (if not rigged) , make you win reality show (again, if not rigged) , and they can only annoy producers and Channel heads by spamming their twitter handle,... they cant manage to bring any offer to their fav ...

DD and GC winning JDJ has given a great boost to their carrier ... They are the winner of the most talked and popular reality show of TV ... that counts for something ...

You know when you go for auditions, you have to prepare a portfolio...and that portfolio doesnt only consists of photos, it also contains a resume, stating your achievements/experiences... and ofcourse you will be consider above others if you have more experience/achievements...

Thats why I dont think celebs should go in hibernation ... specially TV actors ...may how popular they are... its always out of sight, out of mind thing for them ... once you are out of limelight for 1-2 years, its really hard to make a comeback ...
